Slick is sitting in the chair with his legs propped up on the table, idly shuffling a deck of cards, and probably not really paying much attention to whatever is going on around him unless you approach.

Say your goodbyes, knowing that while the Crowbar of Fate has wedged in there to apply just the right amount of pressure to separate the boards without unduly bending the nails so that they can't be reused. I mean we've got a budget to keep. Is exerting its inexorable pressure!

IT IS ONLY SO THAT ONE MAY RETURN! STRONGER, WEATHERPROOFED, and with a nice bit of lacquer finish.

[so while other teams may have gotten a peaceful night's rest, it is not entirely so for Hydracula. in fact, one Vulpecula seems to be laying out on the roof and seems to have been there for ages and yet not gotten a wink of sleep.]

[There is a sound coming from outside the Lepus dorms, almost as if someone is slamming something against the door. It's sudden, and honestly quiet annoying.]

[from the direction of the tunnels leading to the pillar, two figures emerge. they're having a conversation--or rather, the slightly shorter one is talking while the slightly taller one grunts an occasional answer. both are looking a little ragged around the edges. ushahin looks like he's spent the past while wandering the caves--wonder why! kieran mostly just looks tired.

It's a pretty normal sight, until you realize his hands have been cut off at the wrist and are hanging on a rope slung around his neck.]
