[Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, is about to get interrupted. You might see it first in water, the faint tremble of ripples, odd to someplace devoid of wind.. Or feel just an odd shiver...

It’s only a moment after that tiny warning, that the ground seems to heave, roll and pitch beneath you. The cacophony of stone, clattering cookware, weapons or anything else unsecured wars with a thunderous, growling roar. Those of more acute hearing might even catch layers and layers of it, welling up like a scream. For those outside, some of the paths fissure, the lake swells up in waves, and stalagmites, large and small dislodge and crash down.

And scant moments later... it's over. The ground gives off a few shudders, as if shaking off the fit... and the air remains eerily still and calm.]

[There's a tiny—no, really, it's about 9 inches tall from paw to ear—black furred, blue eyed fox kit wandering around IN SUPER CONFUSION. If you look closely, it's got a bracer on its right foreleg.

[Someone is heading back to the dorm from the direction of the lake. There is a chunk of cloth taken out of the left shoulder of his uniform, and the skin underneath is bloody and raw like it was scraped by something with a serious grudge.

As he approaches he speeds up, looking for people outside to make sure they're okay. Otherwise he's going to walk up the door, knock hard, and say:]

What: Coping with loss


[Lepus has been hard-hit by the loss of Van and Mikaila, though of course they wish them the best; still, some changes have to be made at home.

Well, one big change.

See, the little spiders, sure, they can stay -- residents and visitors will just have to watch their step and shake out their bed at night as many of them are poisonous. But, well, left is the problem of Triumph -- Mikaila's pet Giant Cave Spider -- who is, of course, no longer controlled by the Spider Whisperer.

So, things being as they are, it is time to say farewell to Triumph and set her free to live a better life deep in the caves; released into the wild to live as she best can now that her master is no longer here.

Which involves getting her there.

Advantage: Triumph is familiar with Lepus members coming and going and occasionally getting on her back.
Disadvantage: Triumph is a completely untamed Giant Cave Spider.

...So as you go about your business today you may be greeted by:
a) Bryony of Lepus running screaming past telling you to OH MY GOD GET OUT OF THE WAY
and
b) Triumph rampaging past you, loosely steered by Rolo, who is clinging to her back and attempting to angle her off deep into the caves.]

There are a few broken stalactites near him, and the water's still risen to waves, but he seems distracted by something else.*
