[Chika (broken left arm still in a crude sling) is out by the lake with something new today. (Like the picture but a lot less colorful)

He's testing the weight of the rock hanging in the pouch. Satisfied, he looks out towards the lake and suddenly swings his arm up from behind him, letting the release knot go and watching as the rock flies a really good distance before landing in the water with a 'plop']

[River is doing his patrol rounds, katana on his shoulder. Both hands, hooked in his pockets, are bandaged up - not covered is the red pattern up one side of his neck and cheek. It looks like his skin cracked, fissured, and is now scarring. But hey, he's healing!]
