So, funny story. I was trying to work on a FAQ and I couldn't remember how to make question and answer link together.

I know it's something like "a href" and "a name". Can someone refresh my memory?

Okay, I could swear I've seen this asked here before, even with the same journal I'll be using as an example. I've gone back through 80 entries though, and I could swear it was more recently than that, so I'm sorry if this has already been answered! I don't know if I was imagining things or it was deleted or what but anyway.

Can someone tell me how to do something fancy in the namefield, such as this journal has? Where would I put it in the overrides, would it even be in the overrides at all, how would I code it, etc? Thank you!

Hello, first time posting and first time with this problem.

I created a table within a scrolling table, if I post the table in a post on it's own then the coding is fine. If I post regular text within the scrolling table then it works perfectly. The problem is the table will drop to the "bottom" of the scrolling table forming this huge gap of blank space that I can't fill or move. There are no spaces in the coding that should allow for this, but I have no idea what the problem is.

I've tried "td/div align=" codes, but those just creates whole new problems forcing the text or table outside of the scrolling area. Please help.

Also, can someone teach me how to take codes from the Page Source window? I never know what to delete and what I need to copy and paste to get that style.

Just yesterday, I discovered the Chicago-based comm textsfln which makes use of the website textsfromlastnight.com. Basically, you choose three text messages, and each of these are woven into a line from the past, present, and the future.

While creating my character (I'm still in the process of writing her) I thought to myself, "Hmm, maybe I should make use of the media templates at rp_tutorials?" A few moments later, I came across this. Although it's a wonderfully crafted template, it wasn't exactly what I'm looking for. I'm looking for something that looks like this.

I think a template in which a user can edit the sender's name and message would be very useful for games that rely on characters using social networks.

Just joined this wonderful site - I can see it being so much help in the future. For now, I have a question and hope someone can help me.

Is there any way to insert pictures into journal entries and have the text wrap round them? I just found a fantastic RP line and we'd love to illustrate the posts with graphics.

Does anyone know where in an S2 Bloggish layout is the option to hide or show the links list? I'm trying to modify something and I have show links list in the custom options and I have a links list filled out but I think it's set to be hidden in the stylesheet and can't seem to figure out where. There are these gorgeous codes used to make profiles and such (like this) but they require using using an external site, like Scribbld.

I do not understand how these things are used, how they are put up etc.

Is there anyone that could explain this to me in a simple way that even a non coder like me can understand? I would really appreciate it.

I keep seeing character profiles on Scribbld, they're all similar and set up pretty much the same way but it doesn't appear to have made it into the tags in this comm.

I'm starting to understand journal coding the more I play around with it, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out why the background in my display title, subject line, and bottom naviation repeats itself from a different angle at the end or why the bottom border is black instead of the specified color. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me solve this mystery.

Is there any way to do rollover images in journals without referencing an external style sheet? I want to do a rollover image but I fear it's impossible on IJ in entries. Can anyone confirm this or tell me how I would do it if there is a way?

I have some experience with HTML/CSS, and generally I can navigate myself around a document enough to tweak it to my liking. However, I have run into a big problem with my stylesheet that I know someone with a more trained eye could solve easily.

Hello, my name is Jen and I recently came across a layout that I fell madly in love with. So I took the code [with credit] fixed myself a new header [as it was more the idea I loved] and then put it to work on my character journal the_antifrancis. It looks great! Problem? The side bar and header don't work on any page but the main journal. I'm assuming that when I was supplied the coding they missed out on some things.

Could someone please help me find the missing code(s)? I'm working on becoming html savey and have most of the basic stuff down pat, I also know what not to touch, but to write it from scratch...one day lol

I was wondering, is there some kind of CSS you can use in a journal layout that will change the navigation banner background independently of the comment bar background? Under the custom colors option, they're both adjusted by the 'weak accent' option, but can I make one a different color than the other?
