Hello! It seems that I'm running into a bit of a background problem with the layout I'm using, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me why it won't show up? Here's the HTML:

The background didn't show up because you have a style tag within the style type="text/css" tag. Technically, you just need only one style type="text/css" tag, and all the CSS can just go in between the opening and closing tags.

I cleaned up your code for you:
