Tutorial: www.webs.com

I looked and didn't really see a tutorial for this (or one I undestood), and I know someone just asked about this, so I hope it's okay to post this! If it isn't or is already done, I'll delete the entry. Anyway!

Using webs.com for character biographies/directories and other random things seems to be pretty popular, but it can be a bit tricky to figure out (or it was for me, and I can't be alone, right?). I couldn't find a tutorial, and I got help from random places, but I thought since I couldn't find a tutorial or one that made sense to me (seriously, I don't know what people mean when they say upload file because I tried, and the one time I got it to upload, it was corrupted and wouldn't work), I'd make one for other people who might not be as very savvy, either. Just a warning, this is image heavy because I wanted to make sure people had visuals with the directions since it can be hard going on text alone. If you can't see the image very well, just right click view image/view image in new tab for a bigger size. I restricted their size in the entry so they wouldn't take up as much space.

Is there any other free photoshop-like programs out there that I could use to have a character write a faux handwritten letter with?

edit: something like this but with a way to copy & paste the end result. http://www.writing-fonts.com/create-handwritten-letters-online-using-your-own-hand-writing-fonts

I'm pretty sure I read something here that certain kinds of coding just doesn't work in the userinfo regardless if you're using LiveJournal or InsaneJournal. Apparently I forgot that because I learned the hard way that this does not look like this as it should. If it's possible, I'd like to keep as much of the original coding as intact as I can, but if I can't, I can't. Below is the code for anyone to look at and, if possible, make suggestions on how I can fix it.

P.S. I didn't know how to tag this. Sorry. :c
