Why did we find out from Alastor Moody rather than yourself?

I am quite relieved to be back at the WWN for the first time in almost a month. My coworkers have been wonderful and it almost seems like no time has passed. Thank you so much to the dedicated staff at St. Mungo's. If it were not for you, I don't think my return would be possible. Yes, there are some challenges, but it is better than losing the full functionality of my wand arm.

Thank you to everyone at St. Mungo's for their excellent care. I can't really feel my right arm, but the mediwitch assures me that it's still there.

Is it true that Ashwyndery was destroyed? Those poor people.

Death is fascinating. Even when insignificant it creates a ripple effect. The way it impacts those around it, who are touched by it even in briefly by extension. Deaths effects can be fleeting but a moment in someone's mind as they move on. Or it can be devastating and gut-wrenching. Watching the emotions wash over someone as they battle through the stages of acceptance. Death can bring with it scrutiny in many ways. It can be timely, it can be a surprise, it can be inconvenient. Watching the wave of impact. A tsunami to some or just rolling in of the tides to another. Fascinating.

Do you ever feel like there’s just not enough food?

If anyone needs me, I’ll be baking and making until I fall asleep on the kitchen floor.

For anyone who has the misfortune of crossing paths with the wayward Dementors that the Ministry seems incapable of keeping under their firm control, there are extra cheering charms and an abundant supply of chocolate and chocolate treats on hand at Mungo's. Simply stop by and the Welcome Witch will direct you to the proper floor.

Additionally, taking on a Dementor head on, no matter who you are, is not a good idea and the consequences of doing such a thing could be lasting and dire. If you see a Dementor, the best option would be for you to leave as quickly as you can without drawing any attention to yourself. In this case, do not try and be a hero.

Gosh, I love when I get a new book. I have been waiting for it on order for a while and that owl notifying me it was in at Flourish and Blotts was like Christmas.

I saw that there were some people who were looking for a new job. The WWN always has one sort of opening or another. If you have any questions, I am happy to point you in the right direction.

Hello! My name is Vivienne Thomas and I've just moved to London from a tiny village that none of you probably have heard of. I've been home schooled so I don't really know anyone here. I thought there would be more possibilities here than where I grew up. I'm quite adept at charms, potions and defence. I also like to think I have an eye for fashion but that was based on my village so I don't know if that will stay true now that I'm in London.

What I'm asking, is if anyone knows of any jobs going, I'm happy to provide my NEWTs for consideration.

Now, how does one meet people in a city such as London? I can't keep my social life to these journals, as fascinating as they are.

October 1st. I really do love the month of October. Even if it does officially put an end to my birthday month. It brings along the crisp fall air and the spooks. Even brought about a full moon.
