Little Ashley is getting so big so fast. In case anyone wants to see her, I'll stop by the clinic New Years afternoon with her. We close at noon that day, and we will be on call for New Years, just in case there are any firework accidents. You know who to call.

And I wanted to ask you a serious question. I really love your daughter, more than anything in this world. And our daughter. I was going to wait until closer to Ashley's due date to ask, but with everything that's come up- Well... I don't want to wait.

I want to marry your daughter, and keep her safe. I'm asking for your permission.
