The last week of the Columbia science summer camp classes starts tomorrow. I've been having so much fun aside from worrying about Peter. Next month will be prepping for the new school year. Fun - biochemistry, genetics.

Other than that - StarkTech Conference. I want to go.

Somebody on my Facebook newsfeed posted this really intense video on the Chattanooga shootings and was all like, positive about it. I didn't want to say anything, so I just unfriended her. But the tone was scary. 'Yesterdays's moderates are today's terrorists'. So much anger. I talked to my parents about it, and my father said that this was how it was like, after 9/11. All Muslims became the target of bias and hate crimes out of anger and fear over what happened. And now the mosque that we attend has asked everybody to be cautious. It's rants like this video that inspire more violence.

ParkourLuck: Ughhh! Why can't I be in San Diego right now?! Hall H people are walking to a Star Wars concert?!?! I want to hear the new music! Okay it may be the energy drink talking but between that, Lego Doctor Who, and new Legend of Korra comics, I feel permanently scarred that I'm trapped on the far side of the country. Not that I was able to go to NYCC either.

What: After lots of years, Peter's habit of literally almost running into Tony Stark stays true. But this time with no alcohol and whole new levels of awkward!

[OOC note in regards to Parkers: Richard and Mary Parker both worked for SHIELD for some years until their untimely demise in the line of duty in 2001. Richard was more on the science side of the SHIELD game, while Mary worked more as a field agent. How exactly they died is still wide open in terms of plotting. Phil Coulson however was the one to inform May and Ben Parker about their deaths (and all the lovely cover stories about their mysterious jobs) after the fact.]

Gotham Hall is style meets sophistication, with brass filigree doors, marble inlaid floors, grand architecture, and a positively soaring gilded ceiling. This oval space boasts 9,980 square feet and holds a max capacity of 800 guests. Given that the MSF charity fundraiser is one of the hottest tickets in town, every one of those tickets has been bought, raffled off, stolen, or scalped.

What: Phil follows up on a lead about a rather unusual masked wrestler in the underground scene. Of course, he may need to work on his recruiting pitch.

What: Tiny Peter runs into a drunk Tony and the two manage to bond over science and sass.
Warnings: Excessive amounts of feels and cuteness. Some depressing thoughts from Tony considering this is Iron Man 2 territory.
