Subject: Your participation in the Charity Auction
Dear Avengers,
Mr. Stark has just informed us of the good news! We are writing to express our gratitude for your participation in our annual charity auction on August 20, 2014 at 7:30pm. It is an honor to have the support of New York City's most famous superheroes!
If you are not aware, the Maria Stark Foundation was established in 1984 by Maria Stark as a non-profit organization dedicated to helping orphaned children and children who live in poverty. In 2011, her son, Tony Stark, expanded the focus of the Foundation to help New York City in its rebuilding and restoration efforts after the Chitauri Invasion. Since then, we have significantly grown to offer ongoing relief efforts for those who lost their homes and loved ones in the attack, including new housing, food pantries, childcare centers, and college funds.
Just to run over a few logistics:
I have also attached a list of things you are not required to do or perform as part of your charity date.
And of course, remember that all of this is for charity, so try to have fun!

- Each Avenger will start off at a base bid of $5,000.
- Negotiation of the 'date' will remain between the winner and the Avenger she or he has won.
- You are expected to spend no less than three (3) and no more than four (4) hours with the winner during your date.
I have also attached a list of things you are not required to do or perform as part of your charity date.
And of course, remember that all of this is for charity, so try to have fun!
