My sister, Éponine, and I regret to inform you all that Monsieur Thénardier and Monsieur Enjolras are no longer with us in Lincoln River. Madame Surrage assures me that nothing bad has befallen them here and that they have simply returned to whence they came. However, I implore each of you to spare a few moments of your day to offer a prayer for them, wherever they are. Some of you may be aware that our home is rather unsettled and dangerous, so each and every one of your thoughts, prayers and wishes are much appreciated.
Many thanks.
