It's a lovely day out today. I thought I saw some food trucks over by the park. All you new residents should check out some of our local cuisine.

I've lived in Lincoln River my whole life, I was born here. I grew up here. I love this place, and if there is anything you'd like for me to address as your mayor, please be sure to get in touch with me.

And no, I cannot send you home. I cannot bring anyone here and I do not know how you can reach Father Jacob.

Eight days later, and I am still picking confetti out of my swimming pool. Shit.

Back in my high school days, I use to be good at fashion and girly things, but since the bloody, slayer aspect of my life has taken over I've been busy, I haven't really been able to focus on how I look.

When it comes to dressing up, I suck. A lot.

Looking forward to seeing everyone Thursday. If you idn't RSVP, you can still come watch fireworks and have some hors d'oeuvres and drinks. Just no dinner.

Sunday is the last night you can RSVP for the gala.

If anyone would still like to RSVP, I'm getting final counts together at the end of this coming week.

For those of you enjoying the night air in the park this evening, this is just a reminder that the annual Lincoln River Red, Jazz and Blues Festival begins tonight and continues during every weekend thru the 30th.

Come listen to some of our most talented musicians while the kids catch fireflies. Humans and pets are all welcome, but please be responsible for any mess your doggies may leave.

I've been made aware that we've had a recent influx of new arrivals, I apologize for not having gotten to welcoming you all here sooner, but I'm afraid I have been swamped with my wonderful pile of paperwork and with the preparations for the annual Summer Gala.

My name is Kenneth Towell, I'm the mayor here in Lincoln River. I've lived here all of my life.

If there is anything I can do to make this town a better place for any of you during your stay with us, please don't hesitate to get a hole of me either here or via City Hall.
