Week Nine: Monday
Who: Mair and Kalli
When: After Classes
Where: Kalli's room
Kalli hadn't been her usual cheery self lately, and not today either. Of course, 'not cheery' for Kalli wasn't exactly grumpy either. She was just more subdued than usual. The cause for the mood was being back at the school from coming home.
The initial hustle and bustle of being back had kept her mind occupied at first. But now she needed to figure out if she was staying at Halcyon for good, or if she would return home. It wasn't an easy decision at all, and Kalli hated having to make them. She preferred to 'go with the flow' as often as possible.
After her classes were finished, she walked slowly to her room to put her books down. Kalli couldn't decide whether inside or outside would be a better place to mull over her dilemma, but either way, her books needed to be put somewhere. Preferably where she'd be able to find them later.
When she opened the door though, the neutral expression on her face turned into a slight grin. There was a fox curled up on her bed, and her roommate was sitting on her own bed, seemingly unaware of the guest. Kalli let out a light chuckle, "Mair?" she said, both a greeting and a question.
Kalli didn't know Mair all that well. Most of the time they just saw each other in passing, so she certainly didn't know that Mair had a fox!
