‘Peacecraft Denies ‘Gundam’ Bodyguard Rumor,’ Heero read the lips of the reporter by the entrance, as she dictated into her memorypad.

He’d comandeered this meeting room at the last moment. He didn’t care what anyone thought about him, but Relena couldn’t have her head of security suspected of being one of the dreaded ‘Gundam Five’.

“This gossip is out of hand” Relena repeated “I would be grateful if the press didn’t just repeat fourth or fifth-hand, unconfirmed ‘stories’...”.

Suddenly, the doors slammed open to admit Duo Maxwell, walking backward to protect his coffee “... see, me n’ Heero, we’re just fuck-buddies...”

‘Circus Performer Denies Gundam Rumors’

In a press briefing today, dishy acrobat Trowa Barton, in town with the Bloom circus, laughingly denied rumors that he was once one of the infamous Gundam Five.
“What kind of a gundam pilot would spend their life having knives thrown at them and shovelling lion shit? It’s ridiculous!”
Questions about the rumours that he has been carrying on an illicit affair with Winner conglomerate owner, Quatre Winner, however, made Mr Barton rather tongue-tied: “Quatre... um... I... Mr Winner and I uh... have no err...” Mr Barton sputtered, blushing, before hurriedly leaving the briefing room.

Three teens report a sighting of ‘a mecha’. Other witnesses claim it was a robot, but the teens – with blurry photographs and fandom-inspired art - claim that what they indeed saw was a ‘Mobile Suit’.

When the photographs were to be inspected by government agencies, they claimed that mysterious figures, ‘Gundam Pilots’, accosted them and took the photographs.

While their claims have yet to be verified, unidentified grease is being studied from clothing in relation to the encounter.

“They were all so pretty, I didn’t mind them attacking me,” one teen reports.

Sources say she is writing about the occurrence.

Both the Gundams and Oz really know their way around a cockpit!  They each pulled in 20 points for a tie last week. White Fang is still fumbling with the controls for 10 points and Preventer (our new team) has ordered their new ships.

Tabloids - some people read them, some believe them, and others just look at the headlines in the supermarket line.  One juicy story and the subject is swarmed with paparazzi!  

Whether Zechs has an illegitimate love child; Heero Yuy is back from the dead (like Elvis); Relena is accused of being anorexic; Duo is doing strange things in drug rehab; Noin has an alien lover - no matter what the tabloid fodder, you must write it in just 100 words!
