Wufei was surprised the safehouse was dark, as he returned from a solo mission - it was only 9pm.
Immediately suspicious, he slipped his gun out, and approached from the rear, warily checking all the windows... ah, there was a candle flickering in the kitchen.
He peered in.
Quatre sat at the table, smiling down at a... picture book? from which he appeared to be reading out loud. The other three were gathered around, looking totally absorbed in the tale.
Confused, Wufei crept inside the hallway, to hear “... they lived happily ever after.”
“Yay!” cried Duo, “More hot chocolate, anyone?”

This week's prompt is #57 - Fairy Tales

This week you could have the characters read a beloved fairy tale or if you are really daring - put the characters in a fairy tale setting. 

If Heero were to tell a fairy story to a group of kids, how would it go?  If Treize were cast in a fairy tale, would he be the handsome prince or the troll? I guess that would depend on who is telling the story.  How would Lady Une look as Sleeping Beauty and who would wake her?    Does Duo have to watch his mouth when he tells bedtime stories to orphans...again?  Who is the more animated storyteller - Trowa or Quatre?
