Two-faced

Duo Maxwell
Title: Two-faced
Challenge: Duo Maxwell
Team: Gundams
Rating: G
Word Count: 100

Trowa can switch off attention from anything not useful to the mission - court jester Duo included.
Wufei is driven insane by the jokes, constant chattering, needling him endlessly. Of course, if he didn’t respond so perfectly (so Duo says, at least), then he would be left alone.
Sometimes I see Quatre giving Duo a strangely longing look. Maybe he’s wondering how to drop his polite intensity and laugh with Duo or do something crazy just for the hell of it?
Every night, though, it’s me who sees Duo’s real face... that jokers mask shatters when his nightmares come again.

Prompt #40

No points were awarded last week.

This week's prompt is #40 - Duo Maxwell

Yes, it's all about Duo this week!

What was he like as a child?  How did he become an elite Gundam pilot?  What does he do in his spare time?  What does he really think about Heero?  Why is his hair so long?

Drabble Duo in 100 words.

Mod note:
Some of you will notice that the tagging has changed.  This is for two reasons:

1. To group all of the authors together so that you don't have to wade through all the prompts to find your favorites.
2. For those with underscores at the beginning of their user names to show up correctly in the tags.  For some reason, the tagging will not accept an underscore as the first character in the tag.  Now, those author names are correct.

From now on, tagging for author names will appear as author: yohjideranged.
