They’d been stuck in the grotty safehouse for weeks, growing restless and cranky.
No-one was surprised yesterday, when duo stomped into his bedroom, snapping the lock shut behind him. But he hadn’t reappeared since.
“What’s he doing in there? He’s so... quiet,” Quatre asked worriedly.
Trowa shook his head, “I think Heero upset him.”
“I only said it was a stupid idea to have pets, given our ‘lifestyle’. Its common sense!”
Knocking and shouting yielded no response. Eventually, Wufei kicked through the door, to discover Duo, lying on his stomach, teasing an enormous rat with the end of his braid.

“Hey Wufei, is it true that you have a pet?

“No.”

“How about an imaginary pet?”

Wufei pulled back from his morning meditation and regarded Duo. “Imaginary?”

“Well yeah,” Duo said, leaning against Wufei’s Gundam. “Some of the guys saw you playing with something the other day. You smuggle in a dog? Or are you off your rocker?”

“The creature of which you speak is not imaginary, nor is it a pet.”

“What is it?”

“An invisible dragon,” Wufei responded.

“You’re kidding,” Duo said.

“I don’t ‘kid.’”

The echo of talons scraping along the hangar floor caused Duo to pale.

Oz was not above smuggling anything last week, shutting down the smuggling routes of  both the Gundam Pilots and White Fang with 10 points.

This week's prompt is #5 - Pets

Birds, cats, dogs, camels, fish - give the characters pets!  Would Duo neglect and kill his fish?  Would Heero warm up to a stray cat?  Does Quatre have a dog...or a camel?  What is with Treize and all those birds?  Write it in 100 words.
