Quatre never thought he’d be grateful for his father not being there during his childhood — the time the maguanacs had spent ‘entertaining’ the Winner heir was definitely more useful now.
On his back, with half his torso and his head under a low section of electronics systems, Quatre held a flashlight between his teeth, a pair of wire strippers in his shirt pocket and frantically poked into a jumbled array of electrical wires.

Finally, “Winner! What’s wrong!?” Wufei, over the comm.
Twisting the final pair of wires together, Quatre scrambled out and punched the abort button again.
“Nothing,” he breathed.
