I would like to offer my condolences to anyone who lost a loved one in this attack. As someone who has lost ones they cared about in the line of duty, I know that it's a pain that can't quite be described. My heart goes out to each and every one of you and I wish those who were injured a speedy recovery. As always, I am here for you if you need any help whatsoever. Hello staff and students! It seems I have arrived here at quite the curious time!

My name is Hatter and I'm your new TA for your History of Magic class. A subject that I'm sure most of you find incredibly boring but really it's not all that bad! Since Professor Boothroyd is tied up with other things I'll be teaching your classes today. If you have any questions, any at all feel free to ask.

Back during my school days we had to pass notes the old fashioned way- uphill both ways in the snow.  Good to give the owls a bit of a rest, isn't it.

I am not, nor have I ever been, a pimp for my own child. I make enough money from my job and I'm writing to support us. She would never need to do such a thing and when I find out who wrote that, you will not like what I have to say.

I would just like to say that I would never do anything inappropriate with a student. I am sickened by the thought. I consider all of my students to be like my children and I would like to apologize if I have ever made anyone uncomfortable. I definitely have not spent the last three days playing a video game. I have definitely slept and left the house and been grocery shopping and done other adult things. I have definitely not shouted "LINK YOU ABSOLUTE IDIOT" about a thousand times. And I definitely did not pull a muscle when I got overexcited and swung my controller too hard.

Someone come stir my cauldron for me because I hurt my arm. Not pulling a muscle getting overexcited. Definitely.

So I just received this... journal today with a note that said I should use it. Well if the Headmaster is telling me to use it than I should use it right?

I'm Luke Barrons and I'm Hogwarts new Transfiguration TA. Congrats to me? I didn't actually go to Hogwarts. I went to the Merlin Academy so this will be my first time going to the 'great' castle. Do I get to be sorted in a house as well? Merlin didn't have houses but than it was an all boys school so we didn't have girls either.

Come the new school year you will see a couple more clubs open to you as I plan to start an archery club and maybe free stick fighting if the Headmaster approves it.

I have four cats with one the size of a labrador. If you spot her around the school come September don't be scared. She is quite friendly.

The Summers are long and boring without my students. I can't wait for school to start again. I've talked to a few of them over the Summer. It's just not the same as being back at Hogwarts. This week I've been putting together lesson plans. I have a dreadfully exciting life, I know.

So I'm curious... Curious by nature, which is why I was likely sorted Ravenclaw. I like to learn and gather information.

Scientists and doctors say that people who have lost one of their senses, have heightened senses of the remaining ones. I would assume that the same goes for people born without one of their senses. How does one judge that? Obviously through experimentation and analysis, which is a given, but how does the test subject know that things are heightened? Maybe their mind is just making them think it is, so would that be considered a true testament?

I wonder... does it apply to all aspects of life? Do clothes suddenly feel better? Do perfumes suddenly smell better or more fragrant? Or is it a slow process? Does it need to be taught to someone without one of their senses. Does it make things of the physical nature better too? Like kissing and sex, not that I know about either of those one way or another, nor do am I in a rush to. I just wonder... if it affects hearing and smells and tastes, does it really affect touch?
