I am proud to announce the not-so-grand opening of the video store (but it's opening anyway). I don't have much in just yet, but the place came with like 10 copies of Purple Rain and a whole stack of Risky Business VHS tapes - so if you're feeling the Cruise, come on over.

If anyone comes across anything you'd like to donate to the cause, be it movies or music, be my guest, I'm collecting. Also, if anyone wants to tinker with the VHS players, a couple of them are acting kind of funky and that's not really my forte.

Midgardian holidays aren't exactly a thing I care about -- even if I do like the idea of being given gifts for no reason other than someone else having been born, once. Not even myself. But I will admit I'm not... uninterested in the general aesthetic.

This place is clearly a temperate zone. I don't know if this is indicative of the whole planet, but it doesn't truly matter as we are stuck in this area. Do we know how frigid winter is, or how long it lasts? Should we be preparing for inclement weather?

Cause I've been thinking. This whole weather thing is no good - but we're probably going to have to deal with something like this again at some point, it can't be beautiful weather all the time, right? And like winter is a thing and it's coming.

What I'm trying to say is I think we're gonna need to work on some sort of heating cooling system for our houses. It's time to start thinking more long term at this point.

I don't know what this sudden influx of things from home is all about but I got something today that could be potentially useful to all of us.

I got my suit. For those of you who don't know how it works, I put it on and I can shrink down to the size of an ant. What's even better is that there are discs that come with it that enable me to shink objects to a smaller, protable size. For example, I could go through the doors, put the suit on and then bring back larger stuff like a pool table. I'd need help of course but I'm going to try it out later and see if it's still working the way it's supposed to. I'm doing it at home though because I don't want anyone accidently stepping on me because that would defeat the purpose.
