Question: Any interest?

Would there be any interest in me figuring out a way to add a customizable year offset to entries made to paid accounts or accounts on Scribbld? Basically, I would need to figure out where in the raw layout code to 1) add the option for an offset that would show up on the customization page and 2) calculate the new year. It would involve using the S2 Developer area, though, so that's why it would only work for paid accounts and Scribbld. I would, of course, make the layout public so you wouldn't have to install it yourself and just use the public style ID. This would be useful for backdated or forward dated games. (Marauders-era Harry Potter games, for instance)

Matt Corks is a neurotic badass and has categorized all the symbols and lists their Unicode designations, their hex designations, their HTML entity designations, the symbol itself, and its description.

Click Me!

If you jump to the bottom of the page, you can search for a character by using its code.

TMI: this makes my nethers tingle. NEGL.

If you see a box or a diamond with a question mark showing up for a symbol (and the description is not 'substitute character', 'replacement character', or 'unused') that means your computer doesn't support it. Boo. I'm still working on figuring out what needs to be downloaded and installed for your computer to show the different sets, but for now... OMGOSH THE GEEKERY IS GOLD.

ETA: Adding symbols that aren't showing up... )

ETAx2: FREAKING A! THERE IS AN EVEN BIGGER LIST OF SYMBOLS INCLUDING EMOTICONS! SERIOUSLY? SERIOUSLY... Click Me!

Check out the PDFs to find the hex code and either use &x####; or go to this site to find the HTML decimal code.

All I can say is: symbols, so hot right now.

My LJLogin stopped working randomly. I decided to go ahead and upgrade my Firefox (finally) and without even noticing what version it was... I now have FF7. Lo and behold, LJLogin isn't compatible and now I'm stuck logging in and out. Does anyone have a fix for this or how I can use it? Or should I downgrade to FF4? (And how exactly would one go about doing so?)

Thanks in advance!
