My LJLogin stopped working randomly. I decided to go ahead and upgrade my Firefox (finally) and without even noticing what version it was... I now have FF7. Lo and behold, LJLogin isn't compatible and now I'm stuck logging in and out. Does anyone have a fix for this or how I can use it? Or should I downgrade to FF4? (And how exactly would one go about doing so?)

Thanks in advance!

Having the same problem. Usually, someone on FF gets a fix pretty quickly though.

I've been using FF3 for so long now I'm not used to having to log in and out constantly. I'm hoping there will be an update soon before I go nuts and downgrade. What did we ever do before the days of LJLogin?

LJlogin still works. It's just not "officially compatible" because it hasn't been tested, so FF turns it off. To turn it back on, need to use the add-on compatibility reporter, which lets you use "incompatible" add-ons.

You're welcome. I'm glad you can make sense of my incompletely edited instructions there.

I can! :) I've posted a few things on here, but I just signed into the first username I could think of. Apparently lack of LJLogin disables my brain as well.

Also LJLogin was just recently updated to be compatible with FF7. So you're good to go without the add-on too (but I suggest keeping it if you already downloaded it because the rapid releases are making it really hard for the coder to make any changes. So all they've been doing is max version bumps these days.)
