Dangerous things keep happening, and we may just be safer at home with our families, rather than at the school where one student has already died. My father says that this is reminiscent of some of the things that happened the last time Nyx appeared. We must be vigilant

I already mentioned this on Narissa's post, but if anyone is interested in learning how to defend themselves and how to perform basic healing spells, pleased let me know. Once we're back to school, I'll find a place that we can practice that's safe and that will have what we need.

We need to be prepared for anything and maybe it sounds paranoid, but I don't think that paranoid is exactly a bad place to be right now. If the Ministry goes down, the school can go down. I'm willing to take suggestions on anything we can work with. Clearly muggle tech is out. But if anyone can think of anything...

Then I guess we need a way of communicating that is neither suspicious nor let's anyone outside of us know what is going on. I guess we can use these, but we may want to find something else. Just in case.

I know we're all afraid, but we need to stick together and work together. We're not going to attack other students because we're afraid of each other...and I mean physically. I doubt I could stop verbal warring if I wanted to, but at least physically and with magic, don't attack each other. We just need to be able to defend ourselves in case of anything that happens. I'll do anything I can to make sure you're prepared for what happens...even if nothing happens, at least we're ready. As your Head Girl, I feel it is my duty to do what I can.

So apparently all this effort in staying out of trouble and hoping things would go better was a fucking joke, but you can't say I didn't try.  I'm done with keeping my head down and acting like everything is okay for the sake of obedience.  It's clear certain individuals and their families have a specific interest in what has happened, and fuck you if you don't think I'm not calling y'all out on it.  Fuck you for expecting us to overlook the tragedies and threats to spare your shitty fucking privileged feelings.  Boo hoo people are upset that your relatives are racists and are now in power.  Fucking bite me. 

You want my congratulations?  Here it is.  You purebloods can keep you goddamn shitty ass society, I want no part in this mess.  Y'all have a delightful new year, see you never, because if you think I'm returning to the school come January you're fucking mistaken.  I'm going to go live on a mountain top where I never have to see you assholes again.  Peace on earth and all that bullshit.

For all those offering condolences and such, words are just words and are not helping right now. Saint Mungo's is deeply in need at this point with all the injuries. I have been aiding in cleaning and carrying supplies, since I've volunteered in the past. If you want to help, if it matters to you, do something.

Four more days, not including today because classes are OVER, until holidays! I can't wait. I'm heading home to spend the holiday with my dad. I think we are going to try and cook a turkey this year which might lead to a fire but we will see. We might end up ordering Chinese like we have in the past which I'm also okay with.

I'm thinking of getting another animal so Batman can have a playmate and an annoying younger sibling. Thoughts?

I'm not normally one to freak out. I know that after we cream Ravenclaw this weekend, I'll be in a better frame of mind. That being said... my try-outs for the Fitchburg Finches up in Massachuetts are coming up in less than three weeks. I AM freaking out a tiny bit. This is my life's dream, my dream career... all I've thought about for my future. They only have two openings for Chasers. I have to nail this try-out.

I'm so nervous that I've actually gotten myself sick over it a few times. Ugh. Okay. Off to breakfast.

Well this is a terrible beginning to the week if I do say so. Apparently Bucky is a drug addict, Skye is after Bucky's retriever puff and said Puff is abusing our Bucky. Learning new things every day apparently.

If I was prone to violence I would be so inclined to indulge now. For the record, I do not believe anything about the both of you. I know drug addicts when I see them, Bucky is not one, Skye is too busy squealing over Steve and Bucky to make any sort of romantic overtures and Steve Rogers is not capable of abusing anyone.

The weekend without magic actually gave me a ton of time to work on carving out new wands. I'm finding that (from what my uncle tells me) the people that get my work enjoy the intricate decorations. Vinewood carved with actual vines, cherry blossoms on my newest cherry wand. They'll need cores, obviously, but I'll do that over break. They'll need some time to tell me which they should have.

Two days and it still hasn't been fixed. Still no magic. It wouldn't be so bad really but I can't change anymore. Magic with a wand I've learned over the years. But my morphing ability I've had since birth. It's part of who I am. To lose it is like losing a limb in a way (No offense Bucky). I'm just ready for this stupid mishap to be over.

This day has been beyond strange and it doesn't seem like I'm the only one going through it either. Magic hasn't worked at all, no matter what I do, I'm just stuck sitting here with nothing. So trying to do homework or play wizard's chess have been a flop as well.

I can't sit in front of a piece of canvas for the allotted time I have set aside for myself to be creative, until I step outside. It is as though my own form of art blossoms from a depth that no one else can touch, and I feel so restricted when I have to confine it to this one small blank space in front of me. I don't have the exceptional talent to blend, highlight color and perfect the fine details in recreating human anatomy like Ophelia. I am often envious of her talent to effortlessly create something from life and express it through her work. If you haven't had the chance to check her out, I highly recommend it.

For me, my storyboard always needs to be bigger, on the road to nowhere when the moment strikes me. I can not pluck everyday objects from life and make them mine, but instead I have my own unique signature that I have made known in the past. Yeah, the frost murals of a forest backdrop along the castle walls last year was me! SURPRISE! It was well worth the detention, as light hearted as it was this time around because it was more of an artistic expression than vandalism, amirite!? It melted in a few days anyhow and I made a few people smile.

My point is, I tend to forget where I am. What I'm doing and just let myself go in the moment in my own special brand of therapy. Like laughter, and fun, making theatrical patterns like my natural muse of the crisp bite of frost in the air this time of year - it is my meditation. A unexplained place it can take us for a brief time away from the stress that may surround us. Some meditate through work, others sport....dance, music or reading. All of which speaks in volumes to each and every individual. So tell me, what is your own personal form of meditation/Therapy?

In the meantime, I have detention to attend. A glaring contest with a canvas, yelling at me to refrain from heading outside to repeat last years impulse. A mug of candy cane flavoured hot cocoa and my visionary thoughts. Yeah, I have those once in a blue moon. Cheers!
