I attempted to make fruitcake six several times, following the recipe exactly, and it's terrible. Why would anyone want to eat this stuff?

Sorry for the false fire alarm. Not that there really wasn’t a fire, but it wasn’t exactly a big fire. Just a dish towel that caught on fire while I was tasked with taking the ham out of the oven. Also, there will be no ham tonight as it ended up on the floor during the freak out because the dishtowel was on fire.

I also suggest not eating the mashed potatoes because yeah.

Anyway, sorry for setting the fire alarm off. Hopefully there will be no more instances of it tonight, but who knows since my boyfriend is a jerk and won’t let me just cut up the vegetables.

So the Christmas party I'm thinking should probably be on the 21st if that's agreeable to everyone? This way people can let loose and party and still be able to spend the actual Christmas time with their family/friends.

Lights and trees and everything decoration wise are getting there though I am not going to turn down any help for planning/food/more decorations.

I know too that some people might want to bring someone else along and I know there probably won't be any complaints about it. One rule is check the drama at the door. This is about having fun and relaxing.

Given how well the Thanksgiving party went off, I was wondering if anyone would be willing/wanting to have a Christmas one if it's cool with Bruce? I'm good either way but given Christmas is about family and friends, it seems like something worth doing.

And after the hell we endured, it's a nice semblence of normal, yeah?

My family is temporarily relocating. We're fine and I know I shouldn't need to say it but please, please be careful and stay safe.

What happened?! Where are my signals! They're always there and now they're not and this isn't how it's supposed to be! Give them back! They're mine and not yours! Give them back now!

With this danger or event happening soon, I want to offer sanctuary to those who may not have a safe place. Not in the main warehouse where most of us live, but in the new areas, just being built. We can stock food, weapons and defenses there for them, and still have our home be relatively undisturbed.

But I didn't want to do this without everyone being okay with it.

With the announcements up on the board today, I wanted to extend an invitation. If anything goes down with the craziness around here, and you need somewhere to go, you are both welcome at the compound. No matter what happens, remember that.

Listen up folks.

Some of you know that my husband is a prophet of the Lord. Some of you don't. Well occasionally when there's major angel/demon/Lucifer related things about to happen, he gets a head's up. That happened late last night, but he didn't get a chance to pick up on details and now he's practically comatose from the pain.

Long story short, something Lucifer-related is about to go down and it's going to be bad. No, he doesn't know what exactly. What I'm saying now is that we should all start preparing. I know we don't have details on what to prepare for, but patrols should start beefing up/becoming more frequent, and no one should go anywhere alone. Those of you who've been to the camp and know how to shoot and fight, or those in general who know how - even if its just defending yourself - get armed, stay armed. If you need a gun or knife, come by the Roadhouse; I've got a pretty large supply of weaponry I've massed over the last couple of years and I can loan or give you something that suits. Archers, I know that Clint & Robin have been making bows for a few months now, so if you need one I'd recommend going to them and stocking up on arrows.

Just because we don't know what's about to happen doesn't mean we can't get ready for general bad. I hope we all get through whatever this will be


ETA: Marian has offered extra lessons in archery and sword practice for those who need it. If people want to come by the saloon today, I can work on knife practice. If anyone else wants to offer up any extra lessons/help, let me know here so I can add to this post and those wanting the lessons can reach you.

Everybody here treats me like a kid. Some people have even called me one. I'm not a kid. And I'm not as useless as people think, either. I'm not the liability people think I am. I may not have cop training or whatever like Bill, but ask Rachel, we don't exactly have the safest work environment at home either and Dr. Rosen and the rest of the team at home never act this way.
