Excuse me, but I seem to have misplaced myself and am somehow in the United States of America instead of England. Any help or information you can offer me would be most appreciated.

Seeing as it's been a very long time since it's been done, I think maybe it's time those of you leading classes here for the displaced spoke up and introduced yourselves. We keep mentioning that they happen but some of our new arrivals don't know what they're getting into until they go to their first ones.

So if you're running a class, introduce yourselves. Say what you teach and why it might help. Say where it's located. Or, if you're not running anti-Apocalypse classes but still have something important to contribute to the displaced (for example, those of us from the Seal eat and drink at the Roadhouse for free, THANKS JO!), let everyone know.

That being said, hi new people! Particularly new teenagers and pre-teens. I'm Rose Tyler and I run a youth center in the city. We offer various classes, including dance and martial arts, sports, homework assistance, and general after school activities like movie days, a skate park, video game marathons, and even a sort of mentoring program for those who just need someone to talk to. You don't need to come every day, you don't need to stay for any length of time. It's basically just a safe place to meet kids your age (displaced and non-Seal-spat) and have some fun.

Eponine, according to the inspector I brought in, you should be ready to open whenever you're ready. Pick a date and we'll go ahead and start advertising. And thanks to all the work Ed did, there's plenty left in the budget for new furniture and decorative things if you want to go pick some stuff out.

I've also secured a building for the youth center. It's right there, it's in my name, and I really don't know what to do with it except kind of look at it all awestruck. I guess next is setting it up as a center rather than just a great big pile of bricks. There's room for a gym and a yard in the back to put courts and maybe a skate area and there's lots of individual rooms, too. It's the first big project I've put together and I can't lie, I'm a little proud.

We'll see how long that pride lasts when I actually have to staff and run it and get kids in there. But for now? Kinda badass.

And yesterday I didn't think of him for six whole hours. Progress.

Now that Dark seems to be gone and before the next big bad comes along, Oliver and I were talking about the team and we agreed that it'd be a good idea for everyone to get to know each other better so we can work together better.

Back home, our team was much smaller, we only had four people besides the two of us. It's harder to manage everything when there are over twenty of us here, but since most of us have a lot of experience, I'm sure we can figure it out.

To start, we'd like to meet with everyone separately so we can get a better idea of what you can do and what you've done, and also so you can ask us questions about ourselves. Let me know when you're available and we'll start scheduling those meetings.

Once we've met with everyone, we'd like to schedule some group meetings, maybe every other week, so you guys can get to know the rest of the team as well. I know some members are more social than others, so I don't want anyone to feel like they are being forced to socialize, but the better you know the person out there on the field, the safer everyone will be.

Other than that, I'd also like to ask for suggestions, if anyone has them, on ways you think we can improve the team.

I apologize to anyone I may have been distant with recently. It wasn't my intention. I've simply had a difficult time the last few weeks is all. I think I'm okay now.
