Who: Wes, Avery, and Lily
Where: Wes’s house
When: Evening

Lily woke with a start. She wasn’t sure if she was sleeping or had passed out from some kind of injury, but it took several minutes for her vision to come back into focus which communicated to her she had probably suffered from the latter. Everytime she came to, she had the dimmest glimmer of hope that all of this had been a horrendous nightmare. That she’d open her eyes to find Lochlan laying beside her, man or wolf, that Princess would be curled up on the other side of her, and that everything was normal. Completely fine. But it wasn’t. In fact, it was far from that fantasy. She was still tied up in this fucking basement, she and Avery were still being tormented by this maniac, and she lost hope more and more by the day that they were going to make it out of this alive. She didn’t let onto that, though. She needed to keep what hope in Avery alive that she could, and she wouldn’t give fuckface the satisfaction of knowing he had nearly broken her. She shifted her arms upwards so that she could stand, her muscles aching more than she ever thought possible and her skin burning with such sharp, shearing pain. The wounds she had weren’t healing well, and she was fairly confident that infection would be the end of her if that sick fuck wasn’t. “Avery?” Her voice was hoarse, nearly unrecognizable as she spoke.

What's the first thing you're going to do when we get out of here? )

Who: Wes, Avery and Lily
When: Afternoon
Where: Wes’s basement

Avery had no idea what time it was when she woke up. All she knew was that she had a raging headache, a sore jaw and her muscles ached something fierce. It took a few seconds after prying her eyes open to realize why. Her arms were above her head, her wrists tied together. She was tied by rope to something… a pipe, maybe. And she was on the floor. Cold, hard cement. Avery groaned and tried to shift to get more comfortable, but the rope above her was too tight for her to do much but move her butt a little.

Opening her eyes a bit more, Avery’s gaze was drawn to the tiny, narrow window, providing the only light available in the dim room. It was definitely a basement. There were some boxes in the corner. A washer and dryer. It smelled musty and she could hear a slow drip somewhere behind her. The events of what happened in the bar came rushing back, and her heart began to beat faster as she turned her head to her right. Lily was there, tied much like Avery with her arms above her head to round pole that ran from the floor to the ceiling above them. Avery didn’t see Eily anywhere. “Lily,” Avery said, though her voice cracked from how dry it was. She licked her lips, praying Lily wasn’t dead. “Lily.”

Time:06:45 pm
Who: Eily, Avery, Lily, and Wesley
Where: Late Evening
When: The Pub

Avery was attempting to work. It was really a lack of motivation, which wasn't unusual for her, but because Eily was closing and not Lochlan, Avery knew she had to at least help out with something. The last few days had been utter crap, but that wasn't really the best excuse to stand around and mope. And Eily didn't usually let her get away with work laziness the way her brother did. So after the last patron had wandered out of the bar, Avey cleared off the tables, carrying the bin of dirty dishes back behind the counter. She knew Eily had wanted to talk, and even though Avery offered to visit in the morning, now seemed just a good a time as any, since they were the only two left in the place.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Avery asked, trying to sound casual. Eily had said she wasn't in trouble, but it seemed ominous anytime someone she knew texted, wanting to 'talk'.

“He liked his ladies feisty.” )

Who: Lochlan and Lily
Where: Lily's House
When: Early Evening

Lily had been zoning out in the shower, soaking up the warmth of the water after the chilled morning she spent by the lake with Gin. She was kind of just as confused as she had been prior to talking things out with her new friend, but she at least had some additional insight to take into consideration. She reached forward to turn off the stream, dressing herself absent mindedly in a cozy sweater and leggings while her mind drifted over their conversation and how she could fight for Lochlan, stepping into the hall with a towel to dry her hair when she heard a knock on the door. She quirked a brow, not sure exactly who it was since she hadn't been expecting company. Maybe it was some knight on a horse offering to whisk her away from zombies and vampires and werewolves and general insanity. Her imagined knight bore a striking resemblance to Lochlan, complete with one of those medieval helmets and heavy, heavy armor. She wore a rather sad grin then called out, "I'm coming!" She hurried to answer before her mystery guest disappeared. She almost dropped the towel in hand when her eyes rested on Lochlan. She wished he could take her away from all of this, more than anything. "Hey you." She said with a smile, trying not to let her previous thoughts and concerns dominate her expression. She wasn't sure what to say still or what to ask, so she wasn't ready to initiate the topic with him yet.

Lochlan had headed straight to Lily's house after his conversation with Eily. He wanted to talk to her, see her, tell her that he thought things were going to be okay finally. They at least had a shot at something without the lingering idea of another girl hanging over them. He let his nose play with the distinctive Lily smell the closer he got to her house, finding himself smiling unconsciously. He was still a bit drunk from all the whiskey he'd ingested but that was okay. He could still think and talk and that was what counted. When Lily opened the door he impulsively put his arms around her and lifted her off the floor to give her a whiskey-flavored kiss. "Hey, I'm drunk," he announced and kissed her again before letting her down to her feet again. "Couldn't resist, sorry. I'm just happy." He looked at her then, taking her in, that unconscious smile returning to his face. She was so good. She'd put up with so much from him. He was glad he could finally be good back to her and stop running her around the emotional rollercoaster.

“But I'm going to be okay finally. And things are so much clearer. The way I feel about you.” )

Who: Gin and Lily
Where: The Lake
When: Morning

Lily had spent the morning with Lochlan, feeling lovely and like the world was complete. Shortly after he left, however, her mind began working against her as she began to process their conversation from last night more thoroughly. What if she had read things wrong? What if he was only with her because he couldn't be with the other one? She had convinced herself that wasn't the case last night, but what if it was? What if things changed and he could? Would he leave her? She almost pulled out her phone to call Lochlan because it always seemed to make more sense when he was there with her, but she stopped herself. She needed to work through this without him there and figure things out for herself. That was the only way she was going to have a clear head about this.

She may have been wrong. All the thinking on her own just made her feel worse and all she wanted was to talk to someone about this. She wanted to explain everything to her sister, Miranda, and ask what she thought about the whole thing, but that wasn't possible. Miranda was just as dead as she had been for years now, and Lily felt herself slipping into the depression she fought so hard to keep away from. She spent about an hour rummaging through her room until she found the hidden stash of weed she kept for situations like this. Alcohol was just going to make her emotional, she needed something else. Taking a light jacket with her, she collected everything she needed and left the house. She probably would have just crawled into bed had she not spent all day inside yesterday, but lo and behold, she had.. so to the lake she went, anxious to recall a time before what was shared yesterday. To when she felt just a little more sure that she wasn't going to end up with a broken heart.

Settling in against a tree, she brought the joint she had rolled back at her house to her lips and lit it. She pulled for the smoke through the paper and inhaled deeply, filling her lungs while she gazed out at the quiet, peaceful water surrounded by beautiful, solid trees.

“You were kind of my guardian angel.” )

Subject:Some Unwanted and Wanted Enlightenment
Time:06:04 pm
Who: Lochlan & Lily
Where: Lily's house
When: Evening (after the storm)

Lily had spent all day trapped alone at home and was beginning to go a little stir crazy. There wasn’t really any part of her that wanted to be outside in the weather as it had been, but she also didn’t want to be inside much longer either. Princess seemed to be pleased with her presence lingering longer than it typically did, at least. The kitten had spent periods snuggling beside her, chasing after nothing in particular, more snuggling, and the occasional hide-and-pounce game. If it weren’t for her furry baby, she was sure she would have lost her mind by now and been banging her head against a wall. That is until she received a text message from Lochlan, her mood brightening considerably at the mention that he was going to come check on her. She had tried telling him that he didn’t need to, but he insisted and she certainly wasn’t going to argue being able to see him. She had missed him more than she had wanted to tell him because she didn’t want to be overly needy considering they had just spent all last night and a part of the morning together in amazingly sweet, sweaty, hot, bliss.

Hovering near the fire that she had been keeping up in her fireplace for a good part of the day, she sat with guitar in lap, strumming chords and humming a few lines along with it. She would pause every now and again to jot down chords she liked and words or phrases to match in a notebook on the floor beside her. She wasn’t sure when Lochlan would be over, but she was doing her best to keep herself busy so as to avoid suffering from a bad case of ants in her pants.

Who: Avery, Lochlan, Lily, and Fiona
Where: Fiona's House
When: Early Evening

It had taken Avery some of her afternoon to finally track down Lochlan’s Lily. Thankfully the texts that Fiona sent her after her sister spoke with Lochlan gave Avery a pretty good idea as to who Lily actually was. Dark haired, pretty. Avery visited Eatzy’s enough to remember the waitress there who matched the name and vague description. It just so happened Lily happened to be at the diner when Avery walked in, and after smiling and chatting her up for awhile, Avery revealed herself to be Lochlan’s sister, and invited Lily over to dinner. One thing Avery liked about Lily is she didn’t say no. Family was obviously important to the O’Reilly’s, and Avery was pleased that Lily seemed to get that after talking with Avery for a little while.

Now she was at Fiona’s, waiting for Lily to show up. Or her brother. Whoever made it first. The food was edible enough, or so Avery thought and it was nice being able to do this without a huge family dinner like Patrick seemed to want for Darcy and Noah. What better way to scare off a potential significant other than to toss every living O’Reilly at them at once? Even if Fiona and Avery were being silly about meeting Lily, at least they hadn’t invited the whole clan over.

“At least it smells okay,” Avery said to Fiona, looking down at the food they were finishing up. “I mean, it shouldn’t give anyone food poisoning.”

'This was an ambush. Oh they would so pay.' )

Time:11:14 pm
Who: Jack, Mannix, and Lily
Where: Lily’s house
When: Morning

Lily had nearly been floating around the kitchen, humming every love song that she knew even the slightest of. She had had the greatest night and morning so far, waking up to Lochlan being something she wanted to be able to do an innumerable amount of times. If she hadn’t had plans for breakfast with her brothers, she was fairly confident she wouldn’t have been able to pry herself from Lochlan’s arms or kisses. At the thought, she considered the idea that Jack might be able to smell him on her if his senses were as keen as Lochlan’s, eyeing the timer she had set for the banana bread that was baking in the oven. She had enough time to get a quick shower in before continuing to cook, and then she could avoid the possibility of her brother going alpha male for the time being. She didn’t know if that was an actual thing, but she knew dogs sometimes seemed agitated at the scent of other dogs in their house.. and then she quickly decided she had better keep that analogy to herself. Being likened to a dog might be just a little bit offensive for either of, if not both, the werewolves in her life. She scooted to the bathroom, running the water in the shower while she sought out something to wear for the day. It was already considerably more warm than it had been yesterday, so it seemed the perfect occasion for her favorite pair of shorts and a light sweater.

She returned to the kitchen about fifteen minutes later, making sure the bread still had time in the oven before seeing to preparing the fruit salad from the fruits she had picked up at the market on their way back from the high hide. She hadn’t quite stopped her humming streak while lost in her own little love bubble, but she did at least try to be somewhat quiet as she didn’t want to disturb Mannix, wherever he was in the house.

Subject:Napping, high hide adventures, and some serious conversation
Time:05:32 pm
Who: Lochlan and Lily
Where: Lily's house then the forest
When: Afternoon through the day/night

Lily stood in her kitchen, leaning against the counter and tapping her nails thoughtfully against the surface as the sounds of Billie Holiday churned out crisply from the dual record and CD player she had situated within the living room. She couldn't sit down, she certainly couldn't lay down, and silence was a no go or else she would fall right asleep, and she did not want to miss Lochlan coming over. She brought a hand up to softly rub at her eyes before realizing she probably just ruined the small amount of eyeliner she had applied after Lochlan texting about seeing her today. She had already taken a shower as soon as she had arrived home, but giving herself a little boost in the make-up department was all for him, even if she applied it so it wouldn't be so obvious. She pushed herself up from the counter to stand up right then moved to her room. She took a look in the mirror, grateful to see she hadn't destroyed what she had applied and took to delicately wiping at the spots that had smudged to put them back in line.

She grinned, too tired to do much more than that, but she was absolutely giddy; Jack was okay and Lochlan was okay, which meant she was much more than okay. That heavy sense of doom that had floated over their heads the last few days, that should have dissipated into thin air. She was curious now as to what that meant for them and just a little nervous too. She liked Lochlan a lot and it was a little worrisome to think that since there would now be some sort of normalcy in their lives, that maybe he wouldn't want to spend as much time with her as they had originally planned. What if he didn't even like her as much as she liked him? She shook her head, trying to physically shake out those doubts from her mind and slowly returned to the kitchen for a glass of water. She wasn't going to let anything bring her down today. Once retrieving herself a glass, she took a sip then stared out the window and hummed along to the record, her voice carrying the tune strongly. It would probably be more effective to pour the water over her head than to actually drink it right now, but she was opting to try to keep from falling asleep standing up and to remain dry with the latter.

Subject:Crashing the encampment party
Time:09:50 pm
Who: Zania, Lily, and Mickey
Where: The club, then the werewolf camp
When: Early evening

Lily was headed in the direction of Zania’s club, eyes perpetually darting up towards the sky. The sun had begun its descent and there was absolutely nothing she could do to keep it sitting pretty where it was, in all its blazing glory. She was full of so many different emotions that she could barely function. She’d spent most of her day with Lochlan and despite them both being under intense stress with what the night held for them, they had an amazing time together. She had received a text from Mickey not too long ago asking if she’d like to have dinner tomorrow night, a whole nother kind of stress building within her about the conversation that she was going to have to have with him about that.. it was something she would deal with later. Unless something bad happened tonight, then there would be absolutely no dinner because she wouldn’t be leaving her house. She wouldn’t even be leaving her bed. Any distraction she had managed to afford herself previously had begun to wear off as the entire reality of the situation hit like it hadn’t before. She thought she had fully wrapped her mind around what was to come, but with each hour that drew closer to the rising of the full moon, the more she realized she had just begun to really get it.

She looped around to the back of the building, noticing a door propped open. She walked in slowly and looked around curiously. She hadn’t had a chance to actually see the club indoors yet; this would have been incredibly exciting if she didn’t have a dark cloud of doom hanging over her. “Hello? Zan?” She didn’t hear a response, so she continued further in until she spotted some bottles of wine and glasses. She was drawn to them like a magnet and looked around, still not seeing anyone. She took the liberty of pouring herself a rather large glass with the bottle that was already uncorked, bringing the glass to her lips as she continued to hold tight to the bottle’s neck. She took a few steps over to a nearby window, the darkness that had tinged the surroundings being completely unsettling. She couldn’t be here, not right now. She took several large sips from her glass before downing the rest of it, immediately pouring herself another. She didn’t take her eyes off the sky once.

Zania couldn’t leave for her club until the sun was fully behind the trees. At least she wasn’t far from her own house, being stuck at Lance’s all day, and she was able to swing by there, shower, and change clothes. It didn’t take long, not with her dreads and her inability to see in the mirror, hence put on makeup. It was just starting to get dark when she arrived, and she called out to Lily as she came in, a bottle in her hand, her portable stereo in her bag. “Lily, you here?” she asked, pushing the door open the rest of the way and turning on the lights.

How do you feel about werewolves? )

Time:08:02 pm
Who: Lochlan and Lily
Where: The park then Lily's house
When: Late morning to late, late noon

Lily had been laying in bed wide awake, staring at the ceiling for a solid hour. Her head was pounding, though she doubted it was strictly a result from her hangover. The morning after her little binge surprisingly didn't have her feeling like complete shit, or maybe hangovers had become such a common theme in her mornings that she didn't pay much attention to the pains it brought on. What kept her clinging to her bed today was her recollection of last night's talk with Mickey and the fuck show that was fixing to happen tonight with the full moon. There was no way that whole shifting into a werewolf business was going to go smoothly for her brother, or anyone involved.

She sighed, finally throwing her covers off of herself and climbing out of her sleep sanctuary. She got herself a glass of water from the kitchen, pacing around the silent house with a frown. She couldn't do this all day.. she would lose her mind. Rushing to her room, she quickly changed into a pair of shorts, a tank, and threw her hair into a messy ponytail. There was nothing glamorous about her appearance right now, she just needed to get out. If she couldn't stop the nagging worries, maybe she could at least run away from them for a bit.

She was out of her house in a matter of minutes, taking off towards the park. A change of scenery would be nice today. Upon arrival, she did a brief set of stretches before taking off, starting with a steady jog.

'Then let’s go. We can just leave and be happy.' )

Time:10:06 pm
Who: Mannix and everyone at the encampment
Where: The Werewolf Encampment
When: Sunset through Moonrise

As soon as the sun fell down behind the trees, Mannix hurried down to the werewolf encampment. The moon still had a while before it rose in the sky, but they didn't know the exact timing. He wanted all the werewolves locked in their cages, ready for whenever that moment hit. He knew he wasn't the authority figure at the camp, but he had the feeling December was already there, guiding people. It was a good role for her, non-threatening to the wolves who didn't see her as an authority figure.

When he arrived some people were in cages, others were out, but everyone seemed to be heading that direction. He cast a glance towards the sky. The full moon was on it's way and when it got there they'd finally know what they were dealing with.

Lochlan had gone with Aidan to the site of the werewolf project. And he’d worked his ass off. He’d thrown everything he had into it until he was sweating and exhausted which actually took a lot longer than it would have pre-wolf attack. He recovered fairly quickly too, in the space of a shower at Eily’s while she was out and a 10 minute catnap (wolfnap?) in his favorite booth, and he was back to one hundred percent.

He’d kept his distance from Eily all day, not sure what to say after this morning, and had tried his best not to even think about it even as he started his shift that evening. He wished he could take a drink and get a little buzzy to bolster his courage, but alcohol didn’t have the same effect as it used to. So he was doing his best to lose himself in conversations with the patrons.

Lily’s shift was coming to a close and she was very much looking forward to her evening. A little drinking competition? Perfect. She was pretty confident in her skills, though it was hard to say if she really would be able to outdrink Lance or not. She hadn’t seen him pre-hung over before, so she really wasn’t able to tell how much booze he could handle.. either way, she knew it would be interesting. In more ways than one.

She tapped her foot while waiting to be covered, nails tapping against the counter as her eyes remained fixated on the door. She thought Zania would be in tonight, but she wasn’t entirely certain. Zan had graciously provided her with plenty of alcohol to last she and Lance the evening at an incredible price, something she knew she’d have to thank her for again.

Glancing around, Lily made sure no one else was in need of anything else in the last minute before she’d be out for the night.

Who: Lily and Jack
Where: Outside O'Reilly's
When: Late, late evening

Lily moved down the street, hands in pockets as she walked. She had been looking for Jack since she got out of work and was seeming to lack the apparent luck one needed to find him. He wasn't answering her texts or phone calls and that was enough to make her begin to panic. What if the vampire blood was only a temporary fix? She picked up her pace at the disturbing thought of him on the brink of death somewhere. She cared about her brothers more than anyone else in the world, including herself. At least she could worry about Mannix a little less now, in theory.. maybe they could look into getting Jack on the vampire train.

She was quickly approaching O'Reilly's when her gaze landed on a familiar figure exiting the bar, a wave of relief washing over her followed by extreme irritation. Here she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown and there he was, apparently ignoring her?

Her steps got heavier as she stormed after Jack, anger building in her with every inch she grew closer to him. Once she caught up, she whacked his arm without warning then dropped clenched fists at her sides. "Why the fuck aren't you in the hospital?" Well, she already knew the answer to that. Still, she wished he would have at least waited until the doctor had given him a clean bill of health.

Mickey left Zania just after dawn, untangling himself from arms and legs, and waking her to tell her he was going. She kissed his cheek and thanked him before rolling over and going back to sleep. The day, despite the lack of sleep, had been busy, finishing the last of the repairs from the wolf attacks around the dome and one leaky sink. After all of it, he finally sat down for his first meal, dinner alone in a booth at the diner. It was still too early for Zania to be in, but he wasn't there for that, just to and then muse into his coffee cup about what he did next. He wasn't any closer to an answer around December though he was pretty sure he'd landed with Zania. She was in need of moving on, she had moved on, and he needed to let her go. Which left him alone. Mostly. He fought back the sigh and went back to watching the tattooed waitress he'd been using as a distraction all night Though mostly it was her energy and movement that had his attention, but to anyone not in his head, it could easily be mistaken for something else.

After talking to December, Mannix decided it was high time that his little sister knew what was going on in Delphi. He was sure she’d picked up on the weird going on, but both he and Jack involved now it was becoming harder and harder to hide it. Plus, the longer they waited, the more pissed she would be at them for keeping it from her. With the full moon coming so soon, she needed to know what was out there, and warning her about giant wolves that might be on the prowl really didn’t cut it. Mannix left the hospital and went to Lily’s place, letting himself in and crashing there, on the couch. He made sure the curtains were all shut to start with, just to keep the sun off himself, but figured they could talk when she woke up… even if he’d be stuck there the rest of the day. Mannix fell asleep shortly before dawn, having no idea at what time his sister might wake.

Subject:"Lily. There’s a girl version…"
Time:10:09 pm
Who: Lily and Lance
Where: Lance’s place
When: Morning, after Mannix and Lily’s “vampires are real” discussion
Warnings: Language

Lily couldn’t think of anything she enjoyed doing more in the morning than going on runs.. well, she might be able to come up with an idea or two, but running was right up there. It made her feel good and in its own way, it was pretty therapeutic. As therapeutic as kick boxing? No. But it was still pretty great. Today, she needed to put herself in as good of a place as possible as she was planning on having a heated discussion with Jack about his decision to check out of the hospital early, vampire blood or not. The whole concept of vampires was something that Lily was surprisingly grasping onto quickly, thanks to Mannix. It also had her wondering what else could be out there. Bigfoot? The Loch Ness Monster? Maybe Little Leprechauns would start popping up and get all violent about their pots o’ gold. Either way, the possibility of something else lurking out there wasn’t going to keep her locked up indoors.

She slowed her running pace to a light jog as she approached what appeared to be a still figure laying on a porch coming up on the right. She frowned, not knowing what she should do. It could be someone just sleeping.. but who would sleep like that on their porch? What if the person was dead? Lily slowed to a stop at the path to the porch, glancing around a few times. It appeared no one else was around, which wasn’t terribly surprising considering the time of day. With a sigh, she took a hesitant step towards the body, then another. “Hey!” She wasn’t trying to get within poking distance of the person, but supposed she might have to if it came down to it.

Lance had crashed on the porch, flat on his stomach, one arm down the stairs. Drinking had gotten the best of him, but it wasn’t the first time and odds were it wouldn’t be the last. The voice jerked him out of his stupor, head jerking up way too fast and the world spinning as he tried to look around and failed. Groaning he held his head, closing his eyes as his vision swam. Fuck whoever woke him up.
