Rp Tutorials

I'm probably blind, but any good tutorials for manips? I'm looking to at least give it a go, but don't even know where to start. Something in-depth would be great. I want to do Ludivine Sagnier & Zooey Deschanel, if it helps. But I've been wanting to learn this forever and a day. Using both photoshop CS4, and paint shop pro 8.
