In The Tardis

when they wake to leave their rooms on this day, adam, dream, gansey, gilbert, kol, lucifer, morgan, & simon will find a floating fish attached to a string that was looped around their door knobs. they each were distinctly different from the other:

adam's changed colors like a chameleon, blending in almost perfectly with the background.

dream's fish was dark as night. brown and black, with a large head and ridiculously enormous, crescent-shaped white eyes.

gansey! his fish was flashy. when the light hit the scales just right, they glinted. all sorts of magical colors. balloons and bubbles accompanied it. because, you know, his birthday had passed. or re-birthday. delirium forgot.

gilly! his fish changed colors. all sorts of colors, but they were all soft hues.

kol's fish was as almost as dark as dream's. this fish was a dark dark crimson.

lucifer's fish was very majestic - it was also a shade of red with a flowing and swooping tail.

morgan's lil fishie was very energetic, just like her. red with flecks of gold.

and finally, there was simon's fish companion. a seahorse in fact! well, it looked like a seahorse. it changed colors to match simon's mood.

each fish had a little tag at the bottom of their string with delirium's haphazard signature.

MERRY CHRISTMAS YULE SOLSTICE AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR OR SOMETHING.

I've just realized this is the first time in my life I've spent the time surrounding Yule in a place with much snow. It makes me feel strangely more homesick than I've been so far, I suspect it's wondering how the family I'd already been parted from before I came here would think of it.

At least it's given me a decent excuse to look at shops besides the booksellers, even if the chances of the people I'm thinking of when I shop arriving here are small.

You know, if you'd asked me when I was a kid what things I would be most excited for if I ever got to be on a time-and-space travelling ship, getting to play in the snow wouldn't even make the top hundred even though I didn't get the chance all that often. But apparently it's way higher up now so if anyone needs me today or wants to help me enjoy it even more, I'm probably going to be in the Pokemons' field with Amelia making snow angels as long as she lets me.

I realize I've been quiet for a bit, as Poe pointed out. Not something I intended, but the 'simple question' I began looking into became a much more... delicate issue than it first appeared. One that required not only equations, research and reviewing technical documentation and readouts, but whatever else I could find that might shine light on this.

Firstly, some good news. As I promised Mr. Wilson Sam, I looked into those who had disappeared from the TARDIS. Biometric readings, internal sensor records and the TARDIS' memory banks all confirm that they are no longer aboard. I can confirm these individuals have returned home, but this is where things get interesting.

To Explain: The last time the Doctor undertook communication - simply communication - with a parallel universe, it took the TARDIS using up the power of a dying sun to puncture the walls between universes. In the last weeks, the TARDIS readouts have been showing immense energy outputs every time we move. They have been larger than anything I've ever seen from her before. At first, I thought that it was solely related to bringing all of us here. However, now with the slowdown in new arrivals, the two weeks without movement, and the calculations I had Kelly do last night regarding our current position vis-à-vis relative astral bodies, I can say with general confidence that the TARDIS is currently... well... refueling, for lack of a better term. She's brought us as close to a dying star as she can without risking our safety, and is taking on its energy in preparation for her next jump.

This is where things get complicated, or have been complicated, and what I've been trying to figure out since this all began. For Time Lords and TARDISes, travel between parallel universes is something that has been largely impossible since the end of the Last Great Time War. I was taught it could only happen under the most extraordinary of circumstances. As of this point, the TARDIS has undertaken it on her own twice! This means she is foregoing what she knows to be protocol because her Doctor is out here somewhere, and that is... That leads to many questions that will have to be answered later.

For all of us, at this moment, the use of this particular 'fuel' means a few changes to things. Likely we'll be making fewer stops as she needs to refuel. Additionally, we're going to need to do maintenance checks. Going through universal barriers is physically hard on a TARDIS. A well maintained one may have few issues, but the Doctor's is a Type 40, an old model. We're going to need to ensure that we're taking care of her, as she's taking care of us, to ensure that we're all getting where we need to be in one piece.

So.... now that that's out of the way, I want a drink. Anyone else want a drink?

Is it normal for these creatures to just have to fend for themselves until someone traps 'em even when they're clearly small enough for just about anything to snap up for dinner? Because this little one seemed to be all out on its lonesome and when I knelt down to try and ask if it was lost it just jumped up and started...I mean, I'd call it kissing, but I'm not sure it has the same association for them



At least it didn't start eating me in the not-fun way, so I can't complain.

[the video feed wobbles a bit, showing at first an expanse of grass and flowers then it seems like the device must have dropped as all that can be seen is a blackish-brown nothing and there's some muffled noises like whoever had been holding it is struggling with something. Finally it's lifted again and after a few more shaky moments levels out to show Simon sitting cross-legged in the grass, a basket with a few flowers and plants set at his side, in slightly-dirt covered slacks and button up shirt…and an Oddish standing on his leg and seemingly attempting to clamber up his free arm]

Well, I'd had no intention of deliberately acquiring one of these creatures, while I was out examining the local flora, I accidentally mistook one of them for a less-animate plant and for whatever reason it has now decided to follow me about. I'm not sure if it's trying to punish me for so rudely grabbing its head or actually decided that was a proper way to start an acquaintance.

Hello, everybody! Welcome to the Pokémon universe.

I wanted to give everyone some time to get used to the situation. There is definitely a lot to take in. Pokémon was originally an animated television series where I grew up, and Nintendo later produced games based on it. Since many of you are new to Pokémon, I figured I could share my knowledge. I can point out locations for supplies like additional pokéballs, revives, and other necessary items when you are on your Pokémon adventure.

Earlier in the day while walking in the woods, Steve Harrington stumble across an elegant white stag. As soon as the stag disappeared, King Oberon appeared to him, and named him as official Lord Of Avalon. In honor of Steve's new nobility, King Oberon and Queen Titania have thrown a grand royal ball starting in the evening, and all are welcome to attend in their finest attire, which the wardrobe room in the TARDIS will provide.

At the stroke of midnight, characters will find themselves onboard the TARDIS, where she will depart Avalon and head off for destinations unknown...

You know, my work had already made me less likely to roll my eyes at stuff in fairytales and admit there might have been grains of truth in some of them, but somehow I hadn't considered that to extend to things like the fae not being all that understanding when you accidentally trample their gardens.

I realize that while I've talked to a lot of people on the network, I've never really done a proper introduction. Since there's a quite a few new arrivals recently, that would probably be useful.

My name is Kelly Grayson, and I've been on the TARDIS for almost three months. I was actually the second person to arrive, after Martha. We were by ourselves for a couple of days, then Ray Palmer, Jadzia Dax, and Poe Dameron arrived all at different points. It was just the five of us for those two months, then everyone else started arriving. The working theory that Martha and I have been working on is that the TARDIS seems to be pulling everyone in for a reason. Everyone has a certain set of skills, or something that the TARDIS thinks makes them special, and can help her looking for the Doctor.

As for the theory on where said Doctor might be, or which Doctor she's looking for, as apparently, there's quite a few of them, we have no idea. Right now, the TARDIS seems to be recognizing Martha as the one in charge. I've gotten a basic understanding of the TARDIS myself, all of us who were here before are pretty familiar with it, but if you have a specific question about it? Ask Martha, she's the expert. Having her around those two months was really useful.

The TARDIS herself has been pretty friendly. Aside from one incident a few weeks ago when she locked everyone in for twenty-four hours because someone tried reprogramming her, she's really helpful, and can get anyone pretty much anything you need.

Now, onto a little bit about me. Like a lot of people onboard, I'm from a different version of Earth. Where I'm from, it's the 25th century, and I'm a First Officer in the Planetary Union on the USS Orville, an exploratory vessel. So you could say that I'm fairly used to space travel. I've dabbled in time travel a little bit, too, though nowhere near on the level that Martha has.

I've also gotten a fair amount of diplomatic experience, so if anyone needs me to help broker any sort of agreement, I can help with that. Before I was a First Officer, I was a Science Officer with some medical training, so I can also be of some use there.

I've also made it my job to try and help everyone feel adjusted and safe on the TARDIS. Even though I'm not technically on duty here, I still want to make myself useful. So if there's anything that I can do to help anyone adjust, please, let me know. Even if it's just getting drinks.

I look forward to getting to know all of you.

It's really great to have thumbs again.

Why the hell did nobody tell me smoking's bad for me?

I know I'm not god damned mother of the year, but I always prided myself on keeping my kids safe and loved...and out of Queens. So, now on top of Jewish guilt and normal mother guilt, I have the additional But will my kids still be breathing in twenty years? guilt.

The irony isn't lost on me that I now want a smoke...and a martini.

We've had a lot of new arrivals recently, and I'm afraid I haven't had the chance to meet all of you yet, but my name's Martha Jones. I'm currently in the console room. I meant to post this yesterday, and say that if you had questions about the TARDIS I'd be happy to answer what I could but as of right now, that will have to wait.

The TARDIS has gone into lockdown, however we aren't in any danger. She's currently unhappy with something that's happened here in the console room. I'm going to do what I can to calm her down so she'll lift it. But for the moment... I suppose all we can do is hold on. The TARDIS however would never harm anyone in her care, so I wouldn't worry.

Can everyone please let me know where they are currently? Kelly, Poe, Jadzia, Ray, you all alright?
