The Day Off

WHO: Archer & O’Brien
WHEN: 9 December, Sunday morning
WHERE: Archer’s apartment
WHAT: Home invasions like this are more or less typical to their friendship and Archer allows them. Of course, O’Brien has a very good reason for being there on their day off.
WARNING: scene in progress, Archer’s language, O’Brien being O’Brien, blah blah blah. (Keep your eye out for the Batman towel that may or may not appear.)

O’Brien did this. Archer just dealt with it. )

That St. Claire Kid

WHO: Archer & Sully
WHEN: around noon on 12 December 2012, with a bit of a flashback to Sully in high-school
WHERE: out on Main Street
WHAT: walkabout, bumping into someone oddly familiar
WARNING: Archer’s usual salty language, the ghosts of bullies past.
He often worked longer hours than he had to. )

WHO: Everyone.
WHEN: Starts at Dawn.
WHERE: The Eclipse Hotel, in Cantonville, Indiana
WHAT: The end of the line for Cycle 1! We kept this one short. Feel free to play out the last moments of your character's stay in the comments below, at any point from dawn until rescue. If they survive until rescue. NPCs can be approached or intercepted, but a mod will then come in with the NPC journal. And the crisis, as it were, cannot be entirely averted, I'm afraid. Scenes started in this specific thread will not count against you as incompletes, however any final on-screen deaths will earn points towards the score tally. Post as little or as much as you like!
WARNING: This is the last thread of the cycle, so just about anything goes in here (within reason; keep it IC and feasible within this setting). That means anything that you want to do that hasn't yet been done should be summed up or played out here. We're tidying up to get ready for cycle 2!

After the storm... )

Who: O'Brien, Hunter, and Archer (to the rescue!)
What: Both O'Brien and Hunter have been drugged (see here and here). The lights have gone out. They are lost. And in a bad way. Lost, not feeling well, and totally confused.
When: About 15-20 minutes after the electricity has gone out. And then some.
Where: O'Brien has no fucking clue. But it's definitely not the right floor.. or even the correct area of the hotel. West wing, anyone? Plastic sheets, tarps, screwdrivers and paint cans to trip over, what the hell.
Warning: Hunter and O'Brien sum it up real well. They have dirty mouths, they're sweaty, moody, restless, and paranoid. Please enter at your own risk. Don't say we didn't warn you.

He knew where her hand was because.. well.. you know. because. )

The Accommodations

WHO: Archer & O’Brien
WHEN: around 5:30PM
WHERE: suite 305
WHAT: cops in possible downtime
WARNING: scene in progress, language... O’Brien

A for Archer, B for Brannon: at least this way, he’d keep the keys straight. )

If

WHO: Archer, Bryant, Charlie, O’Brien
WHEN: before 2PM
WHERE: begins in lobby, moves to pool room (anything Bryant says in the lobby, particularly things said loudly, can be overheard and feed into the rumor mill)
WHAT: If you give a mouse a cookie coroner a living patient that’s seen a dead body, he’s going to want to see it. If you let the coroner see the dead body, he’s going to do a post-mortem examination. If you agree to let him do a post-mortem, you’re going to have a headache. If you’re a police captain.
WARNING: scene in progress, but Archer’s here and even when he’s being professional the occasional curse slips out

This is what he got for sending a coroner to tend to someone who’d seen a dead body. )

Warning: Mild Character Puppeting. This post needed to be made to expedite plot in order for the clock to move forward this Friday. Plotmaster's orders!

Who: Tatum & Archer
When: Early AM. Close to simultaneously with this interview.
Where: Begins in first floor hallway/outside of Tatum's room [115].
What: Archer talking to Tatum about CJ.
Warning: None.

Given the number of 911 calls that had come in referencing the Eclipse hotel, the police captain decided that he and O’Brien could cover more ground separately. )

[info]arcarius

rain is inconsequential; information is everything

WHO: Archer, O’Brien, Bryant, NPC desk clerk
WHEN: 6AM
WHERE: starting in the hotel lobby, moving to room 315
WHAT: Archer and O’Brien arrive to investigate the phone calls to 911
WARNING: bad language

Even before they pull out the badges, Archer and O’Brien look like cops. Archer does, at least. )

[info]arcarius

the proper authorities are on their way

WHO: Archer and O’Brien
WHEN: begins as dawn approached, ends right around 6AM
WHERE: on the way to The Eclipse Hotel, the roads of Cantonville
WHAT: A number of calls to 911 in the early morning hours prompt a police presence to be required at the hotel. Enter Archer and O’Brien.
WARNING: Language certainly. Banter possibly. O’Brien is a warning all on his own. Oh, and there are lots of words here.

O'Brien glanced over toward Archer and gave an assured nod. O'Brien was just stating the facts. Just like Archer liked 'em.  )
