Who: Liam Connolly and Ernie MacMillan
What: Bonding.
Where: Their house.
When: Sunday afternoon.
For suddenly having two young kids to look after, Liam thought he was doing rather well. It did however, make him miss his twin girls, but he wouldn’t trade getting to see Ernie at this age for anything. His girls still had him at home, but Ernie… Ernie he would never get to be a part of, and in a way, it almost felt like this was his only chance. Of course, Ernie would forget because that was the nature of this village, but he finally got to act like a father to his son.
After giving Justin lunch, he made two plates for himself and Ernie. It was simple food, sandwiches and chips with juice, but it was still something. He took it over to where the other boy sat and smiled brightly at him, “Time for Lunch, Ernie.” He said, setting down the plate near him.
