Frankie liked camping. He liked being outdoors, and he liked the sense of adventure, and he liked the coco and s'mores especially. He sat near the fire, enjoying the warmth of the flames, chatting with his friends, and then stayed there long after some of the others had given up and gone to bed, with the fire burning low. He noticed Min - who he still thought of as 'the new girl', also still up, sitting in one of the hanging hammocks, and moved over to her.

"Having fun?" he asked, pulling his jacket up around his neck, as it was that much cooler away from the fire.

Draco needed help. Some blokes probably found it funny that he was so into celebrating anniversaries, but Draco remembered a time where he thought he wouldn't live to see his eighteenth birthday. Life in the village was also transient. He may have lived there for over a year now, but he still sometimes worried about leaving so he did his best to grab life like Cressida told him to so many times. He was tired of focusing on the past and was finally coming into a really good spot where he not only loved others, but was able to accept friendship and kindness in turn. It was a good feeling. And Roxanne Weasley? She had been one of the very first people to welcome him and make him feel worth anything. It had been a long time ago. He had been seventeen and she was fourteen. Thirteen? Something like that. Now they were both in their twenties, but Draco still cherished their friendship. Too many things and people seemed to get in the way lately, but he wanted to spend time with her. Besides, he really did need help. He needed songs for Fleur, damn it.

He brought food. He stopped at the pub so he showed up bearing chips and fried fish. He never ate those sort of things in the other world, but, Merlin, he wished he did! "What does this do?" There were buttons. Of course he had to push the buttons. He hadn't touched his food yet; the buttons were way more interesting.

Some of his mates would likely razz him for celebrating a three month anniversary, but Draco didn't care. He had been raised to treat the women he cared about with respect and adoration. Feur was no delicate flower, but he liked treating her as if she was a queen anyway. Oh, they still bickered, but that was the beauty of their relationship. They could debate without anger. They could disagree without fear of rejection. They could breathe when they were together. Their relationship wouldn't ever happen at home, but Draco was okay with that. He liked the future he heard about from his children and the Potters. He didn't fear it or wish it away. He accepted it while also realizing different village experiences made him fall in love with someone else. It didn't take away from who he would be or who he was; it didn't take away from who Fleur was or would be in her time either. He understood how it was difficult for some to understand or accept, but if their relationship didn't make them care any less about their future (or past) spouses and families, why should their relationship cost them their loved ones? It was complicated, sure, but life always was and Draco refused to bow to anyone who wanted to label him or Fleur as uncaring or different people. He was happy, damn it, and he wasn't going to let anything destroy that. Fleur was not his only source of happiness in the village, but she did have a huge piece of his heart now and he wasn't about to let that go. Still, the magic might have different plans. The magic might snatch either of them back at any moment or bring in a Bill who cherished Fleur or an Astoria who Draco saw his wife in and then what? They had to celebrate these moments before they were gone. And for that reason? He picked her up early Tuesday morning before surprising her with a magical tent on one of the islands. They'd be alone all day and night.

He made sure there was plenty of catered food from the fancy restaurant along with plenty of sweets and wine. As darkness fell, he also made sure the wireless played. He wrapped a blanket around both of them as they looked out over the water. "I love you." He wanted to say it a few weeks earlier, but chickened out. Now? It seemed right, but his stomach still churned. What if he was going too fast? Or she didn't feel the same?

ERNIE gives Frankie a bicycle that SUSAN & JUSTIN helped pick out/purchase. Their names are on the card! He also gave Frankie a separate card with a little money in it.

ALBUS sketched Frankie in his villain outfit from a photograph he had from the hero day. It is framed. He also offers to go to the pub with him though he doesn't drink much!

MARY found out about Frankie's birthday through the journals so her gift was purchased and sent last minute. She sent him a good pair of boots and a bottle of her favorite type of beer. She wrote that every adventurer needed a decent pair of shoes and some beer to warm him up!

SALLY is friendly with Hannah, Alice, and Frank Sr. so she sent Frankie a basket of sweets and some scented candles (maybe Emmy helped?).

DRACO keeps track of the students' birthdays, but also is close to Frank, friendly with Alice, and friends (he hopes!) with Hannah so he sent Frankie a gift certificate to Mike's Corner (it pained him to go there, Frankie) along with a basket of sweets and tea.

REMUS teaches him and loves Longbottoms so Frankie got spoiled! Magazines, sweets, clothes (muggle and robes), and several gift certificates (player choice).

...Mike, you suck. He says if he finds out, Frankie can have one free meal because Hannah is cool and Nev is a badass.

ERNIE & AL would have went to the ice cream party!
