[Working on some plot points in Al's application]

Albus is a writer/artist type. He gets frustrated. He has emotions he can't always handle. He channels it into writing and painting. Unfortunately, he also handles it through some darker magic he was learning in his real time. He hasn't done it at home in about a month. He hasn't done it here since he returned. Now? He just wants to forget and focus on something truly challenging. Of course, he doesn't know (fully) that the darkness is making him colder and more bitter the more he experiments.
