Right. This place has given us a lot of shit lately. And I say that bluntly.

Who's up for a yay it's fall party?

I'm all for being basic, too. Not with the party, but with my coffee. Pumpin spice sounds just right about now.

There's noise in my head all the time.  I don't listen to your thoughts.  It's more of a background noise.  With all the people gone, it's like someone's turned down the volume on the radio in my mind.   Quieter, like someone else pointed out.   It's weird.  The hotel was never as loud as a town, but it was enough to not feel lonely.  I'm kind of missing the loud.   I might just put on my headphones and blast some music.  I usually do that to keep the voices out.  Hope it works to keep out the quiet too.

Please be careful if you leave the hotel. I know you can handle yourself, but I've just found out that a friend was turned into a vampire.

Alright everyone. It seems like a lot has happened in the past week since the hotel brought us here. I wonder if it might be time for a more concerted effort of offensive/defensive strategy as well as tally. It seems like some of us are more familiar in dealing with supernatural creatures than others, but it also seems like not everything we’re familiar with in our own worlds may be applicable here.

What have we noticed about the vampires’ strengths and weaknesses?
What about the werewolves here?

This part might require more trust: Who among our numbers have been impacted, whether it’s someone who has been harmed or changed?

I am asking not to point fingers in placing blame. I am hoping to organize an approach for security and support, whether it is about taking action against those who have harmed our fellow residents or protecting those of us inside the hotel.

I've been dreaming that I've been turned into a werewolf again.  I'm not in the maze though.  Sometimes  I'm in a city, sometimes in the hotel. 

As usual with my dreams, I'm not sure what it means.  I suggest that if you find any treats or drinks in strange places, you avoid them - just in case, the hotel is going to repeat that trick.

Maybe avoid me too.

So I've lost my co-editor and my husband reporter, so it'll be just me. Tony was going to help me digitize everything. If anyone wants to help now I'd appreciate it.

Also I'm taping a sheet of paper in the lobby so new arrivals know where they can find the newspaper and all the back issues.

Well, that was a very short lived roommate.

People seem to be dropping like flies around here.
It's almost defeating seeing how people suddenly vanish without much of a warning or explanation. At least with death, you know they're gone because they're dead.

Much as I'd love to have you two join in the party planning, I know it's not your scene. Doesn't mean we can't hang out either. Name the time and place.

My mermaid tail is shimmery and pink.  It's fun to have when I'm swimming.  I'd take a selfie with it, but I don't want to get my phone wet.   Plus, I know my dad wouldn't like this top.  'Cause you know, he's a dad.

I found the library....so many books...so much to read. How will I ever read them all?

Alright party people - in order to accommodate anyone needing clothing for the gala, I'll be in the Library all day tomorrow taking measurements and jotting down any ideas people might have regarding their ensemble and mask situation. If anyone would like to help out with that, or with decorating ideas, please feel free to swing on by.

Okay, so, I need you to talk me out of doing something potentially stupid, please. I know the effects the angel's blood has on witches, but I've been wondering how it might affect other magic users. I'd need volunteers, and a safe space just in case... so, should I see if anyones' interested?

Question for the magical types: Are you able to make gowns and tuxedos for one night.

If we can do that, we'll have a gala on the evening of the 13th, to celebrate/commiserate the one year anniversary of this hotel. While we could do without the fancy clothes, it sures makes it a lot better.

That was interesting. I didn't think I was going to come across someone else who can do what I do here. Well, it was a little different, but conceptually similar.
