Has anyone else noticed that there's no books in the library or anywhere else that might tell us about the history of the Hotel? That seems a bit odd to me.

I've seen people do these and I don't know if it's some kind of rule that we do, but I might as well.

Connor has left. I don't know if anyone knew him well, but if you did, he's gone.

I don't want to sound mean, but having a whole room for myself is something I haven't experienced since I was a child. I am enjoying it.

I woke up this morning and now am a proud owner of a platypus.
There it was just laying in a little bed staring at me.

I guess I better go find some shrimp for the little guy. Girl? Guy? I don't know.

Regardless, it's name is obviously Patty.

What the bloody hell is this?

Dad knows I’ve spent enough time dealing with unhappy spirits already.

Now I don't mind a bit of nudity, but I do like some control over when I choose to be naked or not.

It was bothersome to try and plan the day around when one's clothing might go poof. Like taking into consideration who might be around that you either want to see you naked (or not). Or who you want to see naked (or not).

Sidenote: Who do we have to see about that earring again?

I've seen a lot of people ask for sparring partners, but has anyone ever suggested an actual Fight Club?

So basically all the people that went missing and had everyone worried were sent on an amazing beach vacation while the rest of here were still stuck at a haunted hotel?

Now this is what I'm talking about.

If I have to take a vacation from death, I would rather be somewhere like this than a creepy haunted house.

The hotel seems to have provided a great sitting room for the Book Club, so starting Monday, the Women's Reading Club will be in the sitting room at 8:00pm.

Also starting Saturday, we will have the first issue of the Island Reporter. Karen Page, Noah Stilinsky and I - Lois Lane - are the first members of the staff. It's a weekly publication. We're also looking to doing a biweekly issue that comes out on Wednesday, covering everything that has happened since the first arrivals. If you want to share with us, please let us know. We'd love to have as many details as possible. You can usually find me in the office in the mornings.

Did you know that we have a daughter-in-law here? Well, not really since they weren't married, I suppose, but her name is Cassie Sandsmark. She sounds lovely. Apparently in a different dimension, Lex cloned your DNA and his to create a child and she was dating him. It sounds like he died. I didn't ask why. I figured she'd tell us if/when she's ready. She also knows about our family, your parents, was at the farm in Smallville.

Anyway, I suggested that the three of us have dinner.

When I was younger, I thought I was really good at hide and go seek, but it turns out that was just a phase.

This place just got a lot more exciting.

I checked and it has some of our original scenarios. You can tell Cyclops and Beast's scenarios. They are the most sadistic people, who want you to use your brain while you're being hurt. I LOVE IT.

So to all other mutants here, do we want to train? Yes, even non X-Men.

I've also included Peter, just because, and Loki and Hawkeye since I was told that they are from our universe. Hey, Clint!

The second question is do we want to include the Avengers in our training? I know they can be kind of dicks. I mean Hawkeye you tried to kill Scott for saying that your lot only defends mutants when it's convenient. I know, touchy subject, but you can see why we feel ambivalent. Anyway, they have done some pretty bitchy things. On the other hand, these Avengers are not those Avengers.

I expect everyone is enjoying their long holiday weekend in a place there weekends and holidays don't matter even remotely?

Cool. Cool cool.

We need someone with dad vibes to fire up that grill and flip some burgers. I nominate Eddie, because I think I have a fetish for high socks and sandals when coupled with lectures about Why Meat Should Always Be Cooked Well Done. I'll bring the chips.

So I'm aware there are a number of people here that have died and/or don't want to go back to their current situations in their homeworlds. So I'm working on a means to anchor folk who don't want to leave here by some means other than using souls.

I'm stuck, is the long and short of it. Without a constant location or personal items that will remain with us continuously, another solution is required. Any ideas?

So, is there a newspaper in this place? A magazine? Anyone who'd like a reporter on the books? Or even for free?

Also is there a women's group of any type? Reading, wine and gossip, superpowers and wine? I spend my day surrounded by men at work, and I've found that it's always nice to have more women's friends.

Well, well, well. It certainly feels good not to be dead. Even if I find myself waking up in a strange, musty old hotel. Does no one dust around here? Or at least change the linens?
