There's noise in my head all the time.  I don't listen to your thoughts.  It's more of a background noise.  With all the people gone, it's like someone's turned down the volume on the radio in my mind.   Quieter, like someone else pointed out.   It's weird.  The hotel was never as loud as a town, but it was enough to not feel lonely.  I'm kind of missing the loud.   I might just put on my headphones and blast some music.  I usually do that to keep the voices out.  Hope it works to keep out the quiet too.  

After everything that's happened the last couple of weeks, anyone want to hang out and just have a good time? Music, video games, food?

Has anyone seen Peter or Senku? We had arrangements to meet and resolve an important matter, and they did not honor their commitment.

I understand it's possible they may have gone outside - at least one of them thought he was some manner of superhero - and could have suffered the consequences. If that is the case and you are aware, I would be grateful for the information.

But I promised my mother I would try to be more social. So, here it goes.

Name's George Weasley....not really too fond of the rudding place this hotel dropped us, but I suppose I made it through one war I can make it through another. Watch yourselves out there though, not really the safest of times to go for a stroll.

I'm feeling much better, much more like myself. I'm sorry I was such a crab the other day! It's... medical. A medical issue. Comes and goes, flares up now and then. It can make me act strange.

So if I made a horrible impression, I promise I'm not as cranky as I seemed.

Also: the Seattle I'm from was much less supernatural street war at night. I still might go out in the light of day, see if there's an alternate version of myself somewhere, or Liv or Clive. If anyone would like a tour guide, I can show you some sights.

All right, there's werewolves and there's vampires out there and the wolves aren't changing with the moon so they're dangerous, not cuddly like me.

I'm carving up a bunch of stakes, I'll put them out in the lobby. Werewolf blood don't work on these vampires, I was surprised about it too. Looks like you've just got to stake them, maybe behead but who's got time for it?

Don't invite nobody you don't know into the hotel, period. Vampires will trick ya.

I'll go out hunting tonight but if anybody needs to go out after dark, come and get me and I'll go with you.

A fresh new city. It's so nice out there, smell the air. It's so dense and thick.

I feel like I want to go camping. I've never been the outdoorsy type but this place, makes me want to put a hammock up between trees.

I've been dreaming that I've been turned into a werewolf again.  I'm not in the maze though.  Sometimes  I'm in a city, sometimes in the hotel. 

As usual with my dreams, I'm not sure what it means.  I suggest that if you find any treats or drinks in strange places, you avoid them - just in case, the hotel is going to repeat that trick.

Maybe avoid me too.

Dad's gone. I guess I should be grateful that I got to spend more time with him at all, but it would never be enough. Not unless I get a whole lifetime with him, like I should have.

So my mom was sent home.

I guess that means I'm not rooming with her anymore.

So I've lost my co-editor and my husband reporter, so it'll be just me. Tony was going to help me digitize everything. If anyone wants to help now I'd appreciate it.

Also I'm taping a sheet of paper in the lobby so new arrivals know where they can find the newspaper and all the back issues.

I really don't understand this place sometimes. It seems almost cruel.

Today is one of those days.....I really miss my brother...

Anyone else actually excited for school here? It will be different. Back home, I was lucky to get to go. My father was a bit protective.

Oy, all right then, everybody. Every week Pree and I are going to do a Breakfast And Booze if you want to come. Pree making drinks and me making breakfast for dinner.

Maybe be a place to come be with other people if you want to, or if you're hungry, or if you're feeling a bit lonely or whatever. Make a friend. Bring your date. Come and have some food and drinks with everybody. Dress nice. Something to look forward to.
