The tour was lovely, I appreciate the country home aesthetic as much as anyone. But before we get too sidetracked, I have to be honest with you: I couldn't avoid detecting a rather potent, fishy aroma in certain nooks that I can see becoming unbearable rather quickly. What can we do about this?

It's funny that moving rooms, even to one just a few doors down from where I was, can feel like a much bigger deal than it actually is. It also makes me want to redecorate, and while I could easily conjure up new bedlinens and the like, it's just not the same as going shopping for them.

Oh, and for anyone wondering, Salem gets along with my new roommates as well. He might even like them enough to be a mite protective. It's adorable.

It'd be nice if the hotel would arrange to show up in another modern city with stores. It's been a while since we've been somewhere like that.

Alright party people - in order to accommodate anyone needing clothing for the gala, I'll be in the Library all day tomorrow taking measurements and jotting down any ideas people might have regarding their ensemble and mask situation. If we can do that, we'll have a gala on the evening of the 13th, to celebrate/commiserate the one year anniversary of this hotel. While we could do without the fancy clothes, it sures makes it a lot better.

There's nothing like being bound to a complete stranger to teach us all how to exercise patience. I feel like back when I was in kindergarten and they used to pair us up and then tie one of our legs together to teach us about cooperation.

Quick question, and I apologize in advance if this comes off as silly - is it natural to be experiencing extreme drowsiness and blurry-vision when dealing with basilisk venom? Salem seems to think it's not, and he refuses to let me try and sleep until I have someone check me over.

It's probably for the best, I nearly tripped over him earlier when I went to get breakfast. Hell knows what type of crafty revenge plots that little demon might come up with if I so much as ruffled a single piece of fur the wrong way.
