Has anyone else heard the trees outside? They're talking.

Are there people out there who might teach me a little self-defense? With everything that's happened around here lately I'm starting to feel really under-prepared. I can offer first-aid training in return?

Nothing has been cracked, at least on my end, but we (myself, along with Sabrina and Joey) have been working diligently to figure out what kinds of symbols were written all over my dang walls and I think we have... some of them.

I'm not a code-breaker, I don't know any code-breakers, but the short of it is that it's not a direct substitution cipher. And I would need all of the symbols identified before trying to figure out if it's a really weird homophonic substitution cipher. Even if it is, the words are then further scrambled which just seems like a lot of unnecessary work for this entity to go through in order to get attention. But I'm leaving it on the table because one of the words did hilariously unscramble into a swear.

So anyway. Here's what we've got so far:

Anyone out there want to explain the thing with the nylon half-pants with the line up the back? They appeared on me and now I'm incredibly confused to their purpose. They can't be for protection from bugs, can they? I can't think what else would get through the material.

Melissa and I will be in the medical area all day today if anyone needs treatment for injuries sustained while we were trapped in bug land.

Everyone out there managing to find enough food? If not, we might be able to make the bugs work for us. They're packed with protein (and yes, I'm aware of the depths I'm suggesting we sink to here).

A lot of people seem to be disappearing. It's a little worrisome.

Has anyone seen the ballroom? It's decorated for Halloween and there's food and music. I think this is why we were given the costumes!

How weird is it that our first Halloween is in a haunted hotel?

Also, trying to do things one has never done before is not always easy. I'm not even sure why I tried it.

Is there always snow on the stairs?

I'm not sure how I feel about the aging. There's a whole lot I'd love to forget, but at the same time being a kid again would suck!
