So trying to be not lethal with these turkeys that got in but they are really stupid and flammable. You'd think after the first few of their number that got burnt up by stepping into the flames I was using to keep them from getting further in they'd have learned that it's not a good idea. Be careful coming down to the lobby.

Oh. I guess that sound at the doors wasn't someone knocking to get in, so much as pecking birds contemplating only murder.

That might be a problem. My mistake.

I know we've all got different opinions on this hotel and being here in general but I hope the one thing that we can all really agree on right now is the blessing that is the fact it's nearly the end of November and we haven't had to deal with walking into a store and hearing Christmas music already.

It's the little things in life, right?

Anybody seen Rose Hathaway or Dimitri Belikov while out dealing with the rogue dinosaurs?

Did anyone else notice how there are creatures from all over various time periods, not just the Jurassic, or am I being a big geek?

Halloween is all well and good, but it's Dia de los Muertos in a week's time so I'm going to be making pan de muerto in the next couple of days. And taking a bottle of tequila from the bar.

If anyone wants some pan de muerto for their dead, let me know.

I miss restaurants terribly. Even bacon isn't nearly as good when you have to make it yourself in the middle of the night.

And I don't even know how to make a milkshake. Which feels very stupid of me in retrospect. Is it just milk and ice cream?

Anyhow. Don't the big stairs look perfect for sledding down? I think the big baking sheets in the kitchen might well do the trick.

If you take the path that leads to the graveyard, you will find a shed. The ground around it has been cleared and the vegetation cut back. For now, there is no lock on the door. It is dark inside. It is meant to be.

I never thought I'd say this. But I actually miss Logan. Not that he'd like this place much, he'd hate every moment of it.

It's wild, right? That once the extra crazy backdrop of whatever is happening outside the hotel goes away, what we're left with is what we ought to be considering normal these days?

Then again, it's almost Halloween and this place probably won't disappoint. Hotels are just naturally creepy places, don't you think?

Thought I'd let everyone know - if you're one of those worried about me and my fire, you might want to steer clear of the ballroom for the next hour or so. I'm going to be using it for an experiment with one of the ghosts. Or maybe on one of them would be better.

To make it up to anybody who might actually use that room - there's food in the dining room. Roast, potatoes, vegetables, and a pie. Help yourselves to it.
