I'm not sure what the Hotel was getting at with the whole forced nakedness thing, but I feel like it might have been a learning opportunity for some of us. For example, I learned that a lot of people aren't comfortable with the idea of other people seeing them naked.

Want to try and stay up all night and hope this is fixed by morning?

I guess it's a good thing the place didn't send me to the beach, since I would have been sunsick the whole time, but I am a little jealous I didn't get to have a cool vacation. It might have been worth being a little sick.

So apparently a bunch of us weren't good enough to go to the beach. I wonder what it means?

I've finally figured it out! too late for some A way to allow you to stay in the hotel and not risk getting sent back home. The anchor is a small earring, magically imbued, made from the bedrock of the island. As long as you're wearing it you'll be tethered to this place, for as long as you choose to do so. Now I've sorted out the formula I can make them for whoever wants or needs one. If you want one, give me a shout.


OOC: Anyone that wants to be in on the research, construction etc. of the spells required, feel free to include yourself. For gameplay purposes, this doesn't stop characters leaving if the player leaves it can be infered they have taken off the earring or lost it. It just means that those characters who do want a life without anxiety of leaving can choose to play that. This is all mod-approved.

I suppose sitting half in the pool on the steps with a book in hand is not necessarily typical of such resorts but in the early evening hours as the sun falls behind the horizon I can't think of anything better to do with my time.

So uh - you know not that I'm not loving the sun and the bed and the drinks and surfing and everything, but like when do we start to worry about whether or not we're going back? Is this just the new normal?

Now this is what I'm talking about.

If I have to take a vacation from death, I would rather be somewhere like this than a creepy haunted house.

I'm not trying to brag, but I might just break my streak of never getting a tan.

I'm not saying that I found a copy of the Rocky Horror Picture Show in the projection booth of the theater this morning, but if I had hypothetically found one... Who wants to dress up with me?

I'm not usually one for taking pictures of my food.  This was a  beautiful start to my day and beauty should be shared.   The hotel must have known we all deserve treats.

I've just learned about Memorial Day and that some of you celebrate it with fireworks.

I know how to make explosives from the supplies in the kitchen, and a few things I've picked up from the various places the hotel throws us, that will be sufficient for that need. Would anyone else want to help?

I expect everyone is enjoying their long holiday weekend in a place there weekends and holidays don't matter even remotely?
