It's obvious that this isn't one of the safest places we've been to so far. Could those of you who've already gone out into the city chime in here with what you've seen so far so we can get all the information in one place?

Judging by all reports so far, the portals have only led to three places so far: Tortuga, Candyland, and Jurassic Park. While they are generally benign, if you're not familiar with those places continue to use caution; while the entire hotel was in Jurassic Park previously, the time shifted on us overnight and it went from a bustling park to a place overrun with rampaging dinos that had no problem trying to eat us. If any of you find a new place, please report it here or to me.

And since we've had newer arrivals in recent weeks, we do have a patrol that monitors the island and hotel. Shifts are six hours long and due to numbers I've so far limited it to teams of two. We do have a couple of holes and I like to keep a roster of alternate folks as well, so if you have combat experience (magical, melee, or otherwise), and you'd like to volunteer, drop your name here and general experience/skills as well. I try to match folks based on that when possible.

Lastly, if you want to learn how to fight you can contact me here. I can teach on an individual basis or classes, and have experience in various forms of combat and weapons training.

I'm not sure who might care, other than me, but it seems Regulus is no longer among the guests of the hotel. I hope wherever he went back to, he's doing well.

Commander Erwin Smith was looking into forming an emergency response-type group to help people out in the event of another bug world (or the dino world I missed) scenario. And since I've been here longer than him and know more people, I offered to help get something organized. So, I know Natasha has her patrol force, and I thought perhaps this could be a complimentary group.
