I may not actually celebrate Thanksgiving, but I'm glad that we get some time off for it.

I still want to make sure I have all my schoolwork done before then so I can enjoy it.

I woke up to a spider on my face. I would like to thank my quick waking up skills for keeping me from screaming. In fact, I definitely didn't want to open my mouth for fear of a spider crawling into it.

Luckily it wasn't one that was going to kill me. I caught it and put it outside.

I hope never to wake up this way again, but that woke me up much better than anything else, so I definitely won't fall asleep this morning.

I'm actually kind of glad that I missed the weekend activities. Seemed like things got a little too interesting for my tastes.

I decided to spent my weekend in the room the Dance Club uses to practice with one of the other students. We made this and I have to say I'm kind of proud of it!

Halloween at home is greeted with a very different purpose. There are parties and festivals around, but it is largely a time to reflect on those who have been lost. I am looking forward to the new environment and celebration, and I am very excited to enjoy the customs of the States as opposed to what is practiced at home.
