Characters: Cal and Jason
Setting: Hall outside their rooms, late morning
Cal would admit it; he was excited. The message from the Administration had dire tones, sure, but despite them? He had a clinic, a real space to work in again. Really, he was feeling like a kid on Christmas, whiling away as much time as he could to savor the morning's anticipation.
He'd showered, pulled on a thermal shirt and jeans, made his bed meticulously and spent time on the journals with messages until he just couldn't take it any more. A trip for coffee and then he'd have to try out this elevator. Slipping out of his room and locking up, Cal started right across the bank of doors next to his to avoid the indistinct shapes of others out in the courtyard.
