[Another night was spent at the workshop. She still couldn't bring herself to sleep at home. If she had to be alone it was better if she was working. She hadn't been taking care of herself lately and the lack of food and sleep was catching up to her. It was just too hard to focus on her project anymore, so she stumbled out to the halls of the academy. She didn't make it very far before she collapsed from exhaustion, not even trying to get up.]

[ooc: dance class was to be held today, but Hiling won't be showing up to teach or answering her communicator.]

[Tieria was out doing errands before the end of the day. He had a bag over his shoulder with some books from the library for class, and two grocery bags in his opposite hand for a few supplies back at the apartment. Making his way through the snow, having thankfully missed the snowball fight the day before, he was headed back to the apartment now after his day.]

[Well, its been a bit of time since he talked with Anew and he had promised to tell Sasha how it went. Besides he still feels like he needed to talk to someone about what had happened. So he decides to give her a call]

Sasha, can I talk to you? It's about what we were talking about before.

[ This boy's eager to do his job and despite the cold, he's more than glad to be able to walk outside. Katana strapped to his hip, he's vigilant for any kind of suspicious behavior. It's his second patrol and so he has a new partner in Kanda -- who happens to be really quiet and irritable, but at least he can tell that he's serious about his job...

Either way, he won't mind stopping by for a chat, or for someone to join him in his walk~ ]

[Hello, Marina! It's your creepy friendly neighborhood scientist-guy. He seems all smiles, as per usual.] Hello, everyone! I had a question. Or rather, I had a few.

So it's been a few days, but, um... Does anyone know where I can acquire some medical equipment? Or a telescope, or even fairly small pieces of glass and sandpaper?

If I'm going to be stuck here a while, I may as well keep myself busy.

[Plus, he has projects. Many, many projects. His smile grows a little more.]

Also, I noticed there's a hospital. I've never stepped inside their facilities, but judging from the outside, it looks fairly state-of-the-art.

Has anyone checked that out yet?

[Because Shinra's oh so curious on what's in there.] Do you know if it's possible to become a volunteer there? Or to... borrow ["steal"] fairly meaningless extras?

Oh! Also, before I forget, I was wondering if anyone knew how to create and install locks? I'm not the best at mechanics so it'd be nice if someone would be able to put a lock on my apartment door for me. I'm not sure how I can repay anyone just yet, but I'm sure we could work something out. Thank you!

I just woke up with what feels like the worst hangover ever, different clothes on, and chewing gum in my hair. Again. Once was way more than enough, and I didn't even fucking do anything last night! Even I just relax sometimes y'know, geez.

So, I need icecream and someone with superpowers. Now! I'm not getting any younger here, y'know.

[Today is quieter around the shelter -- and there's less food. It's getting kind of cramped in here, isn't it? And boring. There are plenty of games and entertainments left over from the party, but everyone is gathered together and... finding things to do.]

[So what are you doing?]

[Hiling sits on the couch, glancing at the door every so often. Every time she hears a noise from outside, she straightens up, only to slouch back when it passes. She looks down at the wrapped box in her lap. A lot of time had been put into looking for a gift. She wanted it to be perfect.]

[Minako and Michiru have taken over one of the common rooms for a much needed ~CHOCOLATE~ break! What this means is that they've prepared cups of delicious hot chocolate, courtesy of Michiru, and have a bunch of marshmallows and chocolate and granola crackers for their attempted smore extravaganza.]

[Minako clicks on the camera, grinning.]

Hey Marina! Who's up for some smores? [she waves the bag of chocolate around] I know we just had dinner, but if anyone's in the mood for chocolate then you can just follow your nose. Michiru-san and I will be here all night!

[Michiru smiles.] Everyone, feel free to come by. We have plenty of food.

Good morning, Marina! [Have a very smiley pink haired girl on your video feed!] For anyone I haven’t met, I’m Lacus Clyne and I’m very glad to meet you.

It seems as though we’re all going to be in the shelter today, so we should make the best of things. I was thinking that we should get together and have a big winter banquet! Anyone who wants to help cook should please feel free to come to the kitchens and assist, and if not you should still come and enjoy the food with us.

Dinner will be served at 5 in the main cafeteria, and after that maybe we could have fun playing games and watching movies together. I hope everyone has a good day, and I hope to see everyone at the feast!

I just learned that today is also Ritsuka’s birthday! To celebrate there will be a cake and some special desserts and decorations. [as many decorations as they can find without access to the store.] Everyone please, stop by to wish him a happy birthday!

[ While the previous classes since Ribbons' return had served to polish the waltz and give the students more ways as to how to embellish their routines, it was time to introduce a different kind of dance; still ballroom, but something livelier and something that can be a passe-partout with more upbeat tunes: the Swing.

The instructors are early, and whoever passes by will hear a jazzy tune -- warm for the otherwise cold weather -- and will see them reviewing their routine; something that hey did not do for the waltz. Students will be expected, and newcomers will be very welcomed. Curious eyes will be seen and might just be pulled in because the rhythm is going to get you~ ]

Good afternoon, Marina! Ladies, it's that time again~ Yesterday was so stressful, and it's been a while since we all gathered together, so head over to the spa for a spell! [ Jeanne's enthusiasm isn't quite at the levels it normally is for these, but she hides it behind her newfound energy. ] Today we are doing things a little differently -- and by "we" I mean my new friend Inara and I! She has a world of experience in things I could only read about in magazines, so tonight is sure to be a real treat.

Come on down to the public bathhouse, let your hair down, and get pampered just like you deserve! Hope to see you all there!

[Why does he do this to himself? Really? Why does he? There wasn't any food in his apartment so he has to leave in order to get food. He hadn't liked having dog ears before, but he has them again. He's hoping that a haro won't cross his path since the last time he had the urge to chase them]

[It's been another busy day, from breakfast on through his chores, but now he's back in his room and left alone with his thoughts about how everything has gone wrong back home. Anyone else might seek out someone to talk to about it, but Moji is not anyone else, and that's the last thing he wants. Instead, he picks a neutral topic to engage people. He chooses voice to hide the obvious bags under his eyes, hoping to avoid questions about his well-being.]

I'm curious about the passage of time here. I've heard a few people say it seems to move more slowly here than in their home world, and I wondered about your theories on that. Is it that time really does move differently on this world, or just a side effect of being taken from our daily lives and responsibilties and having so much more time on our hands?

We may never know the truth, of course, but it's interesting to think about.

Wow, this place is awesome! A rink, an arcade, a movie theater - ! And check this out - I'm even doing laundry! [anyone who has ever done laundry before will pale at the amount of detergent Gino is throwing in] Anya should totally be here to see this.

I wonder if this makes me a real commoner now. [god, that would be so awesome.] I can't wait to check the entire place out later. The arcade first, then the theater! [and then maybe an exit, but he doesn't think he'll be that lucky.]
