Given the results of last night’s selection process, I suppose I should introduce myself.

My name is Kylo Ren, and I have been selected as the leader of Block One. Unfortunately, it does not appear that the rank came with the ability to change the name of our Block, so we remain the “Angry Idiot Queens of the Dumpster Fire.” I hope you’re all proud of yourselves.

Before I arrived in this place, I was the Supreme Leader of the First Order, a government that rules most of my home galaxy. My predecessor and I grew the Order from a hermit state in the Unknown Regions into the dominant galactic power through a mix of voluntary annexation, alliances, and military victories. Having previously ruled over billions of people, I suspect I’ll do fine with the twenty-five of you.

Hey Folks,

I know we've all got our own social circles we've developed in this place, and more recently our attention has been pulled in a few directions, but I've noticed that you - and a few others - seem either invested in really figuring out what's brought us here, or otherwise trying to find the line between pushing back, and not making waves to keep everyone safe.

I'd like some input from a few of you, of course, but I was thinking of putting together a group that really focuses on trying to sort out what's behind everything that's happening here - I don't want the group to get too large or unwieldy, but if you think of a few people who ought to be involved, you can invite them in.

Figuring out what's coming, I think, also means maybe sometimes pushing back against what seemed to be expected of us. I'm not thinking like the Soviet-Christmas Tree-Takeover kind of pushback, but things a little more calculated and a lot more subtle.

What's everyone thinking?

Anyone else feel like this is some kind of colorful prison?

Ok. So that was one mysterious door, and I definitely just walked through it. Where am I exactly? And what are the chances of one of these fancy rugs being a flying carpet?

It seems like most of us are in rooms colored yellow and red. I'm in block 4, which is purple.

Fellow forced world travelers who were in the Carstairs Zompire Murder House, we had a lot of diary entries and word puzzles and there was a fucking anagram that still haunts my dreams but in particular if you remember the poem that was all about how much Dave's life sucked?

( For those who have found the letter in this book... )

It was the answer to the puzzle on our waterlogged phones, in case anyone cares. Also it fucking figures that the last piece of the map that could be anywhere is literally an X so that's cool. X marks the spot to....there. Unless anyone recognizes that blob of land mass because I kind of don't.

My new nemesis: stairs. Followed closely by water.
