For volunteers we currently have: Gansey, Emma and myself but I am not married to the idea if someone else is really eager to step up or doesn't trust me while I'm detoxing.

What is the leader going to lead? We don't know. Could be a knife fight, could be the adventure in the next room, could be a hike through a forest we don't yet know exists here. Who can tell?

What are you volunteering for? Maybe as a volcanic sacrifice? Maybe to complete a task? Maybe to fight off more Krampus demons? I really can't say and I make no promises.

I've been trying for the last few hours, but I can't do anything about the clouds.

But I was able to make some of the paving stones on the walkways light up, so it should be a little easier to not fall in the pool.

I've noticed there is a church here, but I'm not overly familiar with human belief systems aside from a few general preferences. Would anyone be willing to explain theirs?

So in college once, I had a roommate whose friend left a bottle of gin in our fridge. One night we got so fucked up we just drank everything else from the fridge with the gin, like, mixing it together - ketchup, mustard, the works.  Our vomit was super sad and everything also tasted and smelled like Pine-Sol for some reason.

That describes my experience in Christmas prison, for the most part. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

If we're at all lucky, we probably only have a few days left of this. But most of us are starving or close to it, and a lot of the food we're getting from ingenious other sources isn't all that appetizing on it's own.

So I have a proposition for everyone - let's make a scavenger soup.

Bring what you have or get what you can that's savoury (a rarity, I know) and we'll throw it together with what we can to make something that's passible.

If you contribute, when it's ready, you get some soup.

My arms are really tired.

I don't think I should have to go to work if Christmas is against my religion.
