Hi. For anyone who doesn't know who I am, my name's Eddie. I'm your mom now. Can I get a roll call of all the younger people? Who's here from the nightmare funhouse? Any new kids on the block? That one's for you, Ben and Bev I grabbed some first aid stuff so if you need that in the future, I can hook you up.

Anyway, I'm gonna start seeing if I can stockpile basic essentials—batteries, flashlights, water bottles, that kind of shit. Add to the list if you need and I'll see what I can do. We could also use weapons, but I don't have as much experience in that beyond, you know, this pointy thing could maybe stab someone.

So we have a fuller story now, and it's been made clear what we're supposed to do in order to break the curse. We must bring about the end of Reginald Carstairs. I hesitate to say "kill him" because he clearly is not alive, but for those who have objections to these methods, there is still breakfast in the kitchen. Help yourselves.

I'm curious what methods people have tried and the results of your encounters. If Clue is about a process of elimination, we need to put all the cards on the table and figure out what's missing. The house provided us with weapons for a reason, a few of them seem to be the ones described in the events outlined by the departed Mrs. Carstairs III. The diary entries provide us methods that did not work. Lyra, Kyoko, and myself attempted to encounter him in the basement this morning, intending to use the method of the pipe from the passage dated 22 MAY 1896 (please see Mr. Rogers' post for further details, if you have not already.) And while he did not appear for us to test the theory, I suspect that if it didn't work before, it wasn't going to work this time either.

Free from the basement and with a new key in hand. We still needing to unlock something? Looks a bit odd, though, so... probably not a door.

All these anagrams and word problems -- I think we should keep track of them. Has anyone else found something strange written anywhere? Maybe they aren't supposed to be puzzles. Maybe something gets lost in communication between whatever is in this house and us. Like how that damn seance needed a conduit.

Maybe the house needs something to communicate more clearly.

I don't know. Right now I feel like I'm being pointed in every direction but the right one.

If anyone needs to warm up a bit and take a break from your searches, feel free to come to the kitchen. The pantries have been restocked, plenty to last us quite awhile. Which might mean our hosts are... planning for us to be here awhile.

But I got a pot boiling on the stove, which also makes for a nice cup of tea or hot cocoa. If anyone has a knife, I could use help chopping up some of these vegetables for a stew. Thank you very much.

We've got all the letters now.

Gladio and I have had a go at putting them together in various combinations. We've been able to make lots of individual words - VOID, DIVE, LOVE, ATONE, etc. - but, when we try to use all the letters, each combination seems to have at least one letter left over and none of them make any sense:

Can anyone see anything in them that we can't?

I need help, please. In the Billiards Room.

The balls - they've got letters on them now, instead of numbers, and they're floating.

I've managed to catch three - L, A and M - but I can't reach the rest alone.

I want to know what they spell.

Has anyone seen any particularly unusual gatherings of animals about the place? Other than the obvious multitude of rats, that is. I had a rather... unusual encounter, and I was wondering whether it was an isolated incident or not.

Slightly less interesting than a dead body in the attic but I'm pretty sure I saw Cthulu's younger brother in the ceiling in the foyer this morning.

Not sure what to do with that, but I figured it'd be important... Or might be.

Has anyone else tried starting up a fire again in the fireplace? Nothing that I try is taking and the one that was there is out.
