Apologies to anyone near Central Park West who might have seen me levitating with fire coming out of my hands last night. Some angels needed to learn exactly who - and what - they were messing with. Felt really good to access my full power like that.
Thanks to Amos, I only ended up getting shot once. My fault for wearing a skirt into battle. I haven't removed the crossbow bolt from my thigh yet, since its' barbed and I don't want to make things worse. I did manage to get an unholy amount of angel blood, so I'll need somewhere to store that.
Oh Stephen, can I put the crown of thorns in your sanctum?

It appears that the medical facilities have gotten a bit of an upgrade over the weekend. I would sincerely hope that this doesn't affect anyone's daily life, but should you have a concern, I have more diagnostic tools available now.

Would it be taking it personally to guess that this storm was the Hotel's way of reminding me why I've never been the athletic type?
By the way, visibility outside is absolute crap, and while I don't feel any healthier after my run, I do believe slipping on wet leaves and tripping over branches has left me bruised, humbled, and possibly with a messed up wrist.

Judging by all reports so far, the portals have only led to three places so far: Tortuga, Candyland, and Jurassic Park. While they are generally benign, if you're not familiar with those places continue to use caution; while the entire hotel was in Jurassic Park previously, the time shifted on us overnight and it went from a bustling park to a place overrun with rampaging dinos that had no problem trying to eat us. If any of you find a new place, please report it here or to me.
And since we've had newer arrivals in recent weeks, we do have a patrol that monitors the island and hotel. Shifts are six hours long and due to numbers I've so far limited it to teams of two. We do have a couple of holes and I like to keep a roster of alternate folks as well, so if you have combat experience (magical, melee, or otherwise), and you'd like to volunteer, drop your name here and general experience/skills as well. I try to match folks based on that when possible.
Lastly, if you want to learn how to fight you can contact me here. I can teach on an individual basis or classes, and have experience in various forms of combat and weapons training.

I was working on a project to my room, adding some beautiful vintage glass buttons to a shirt dress and singing to myself. My voice's been amazing lately; I can rock old power ballads. It was fun until the buttons shattered. Then some glass beads I had nearby shattered too.
Could this be a powers thing? Can anyone here shatter glass?

In an unforeseen twist of fate, I can do anything and I don’t mean that in an affirmation saying on a mug tucked into the back of a Goodwill shelf sort of way.
I mean this morning I got out of bed, twirled around, and my clothes showed up on me like a dress up game. Then I went into the kitchen and willed a whole coffee service into existence. I figured it was a fluke so I tried it again with more specifics and this time got halfway decent scones without even one Cinderella-esque mouse.
Take away message is I suddenly have powers and, judging by the fact I didn’t break out in song or receive aid from a friendly animal companion, we’re not stuck in a musical. Did anyone else get something fun or...?
