Finally out of the hospital..
Tsung tells me I've been granted an early paid maternity leave starting now..calling my commanding officer confirmed this.
Firstly, female personnel are only allowed six weeks of maternity leave-
Secondly, when I called, the man actually sounded scared-and he's been through Vietnam
I don't know whether I should be flattered or concerned.

I would've written earlier, but I've been fatigued all that week and have put on forced bed rest on account of over doing myself on that weekend.
...Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that it was too wide spread for his power-I'd have thought Shang Tsung was up to what happened over the weekend, he's been giving me the evil eye about over exertion for about a month now. |

Finally pulled up some files on Dave. Here are the facts I've pulled from his files-
-Expelled from high school due to repeated reports of bullying
-Charged with several accounts of assault and battery..more than half of these charges are from ex-girl friends
-fired from two jobs because of violent actions to several co-workers
The good news is that he hasn't killed anyone, but he may either be too cautious for that or someone's called him on it before he could start.
Point is, by dating him your mother isn't just putting herself in danger, but she would've also put your health at risk had you left when you did.

I am starting an internship--I guess that's rather like an apprenticeship--at Lego later on this week. I'm really looking forward to it!
Also, I have a boyfriend. (This is a sweet term, not much used in my time. It's much nicer than 'suitor'.) He's terribly sweet and very handsome, I think. We have a lovely time together.
At home is...about the same, only Mother is staying home more. And bringing the boyfriend with her. I dearly would love to smite him. He convinced her school was a waste of time.
Why do *I* feel like the parent in this situation? |

It seems that the more things change, the more the stay the same as well.
My employer has said that once things calm down, she wishes for me to... get out more. So she is going to... "fix me up" with someone she knows? She said he is a good match? Apparently things have not changed much in five hundred years. My father wanted a good match for me as well. Which I had, but that is no longer.

Today I found out that apparently, I am going to hell.
Well, that should be exciting.
*headdesk* (yes, that is a modern term, and makes sense for my reaction to this Bit of News. As do the capital letters.)
Not, of course, that I *believe* in Hell. Everyone goes to the Otherworld, as far as I am concerned. Still, it is rather annoying to say that someone is damned simply because they use what has been gifted to them by some higher deity than themselves.
This is going to be a LONG SCHOOL YEAR. |

Seems things aren't too different here than what I'm used to, kitchen appliances are a bit more like robots than they used to be, but that ain't so bad. Coffeepot could probably make me breakfast as well if I let it.
Suppose that means it's time for me to set up shop again, if it'll be of use to anybody that is, might already have more psychics, palmists and tea readers here than you can shake a stick at, though I haven't seen too many yet.
Anyway, I've got me a little old cafe at [address in London] it's open for business, though I might get to work on re-designing the place, make it a little more friendly and a little less frantic, all the tile and chrome is going to have to go, makes people tense. |

heee...the baby moved.
It was during work, and I felt something tickle inside me.
Risked telling another female soldier about it ( she's a mom too) and she told me it was the baby moving...I had to tell her firmly to refrain from touching my stomach.
I keep wanting to call it 'the alien' though. Really, you look at pictures of a developing fetus and it seriously looks like a little alien.
Now, if I can just make it through the day without the constant nausea. |

ughhh...I'm glad we were able to afford first class tickets to London, but really, 14 hours on a plane is still 14 hours too long.
We sat behind a woman that somehow thought it was okay to wear so much scented products-or it could've just been me because Tsung didn't seem to bothered by it.
At least on the plane we didn't have to deal with any screaming kids.

Things are truly back to normal now. I have a strange desire to name my computer. It seems that I converse with this thing more than just about anyone else.
Mother has been staying out longer at night, and I refuse to believe that the library is open that late. Perhaps this is just something that women do nowadays.
It seems that I am going to a school called St. Saviour's High School. It is only for girls. There are uniforms.
I am a bit worried. It seems to be a religious school. This should be...interesting. |

ugh..note to self:
It's not an especially wise decision to attempt trying sorcery right after three hours of physical training and sparing, even after a fifteen minute break. Doing so not only will result in expected soreness, but also headaches, malaise and feeling chilled to the bone.
On another note, I don't care what dad says about yuppies and their coffee...I love those flavored drinks at the coffee shop. Caffeine, sugar, and it's hot-what more could you want-they also keep the fainting headaches away. |
