So, turns out that fireballs and other methods of my sorcery came in quite useful. They thought they could attack me. They were wrong, apparently. I've spent lifetimes in the arts of magic and combat. For the next five nights, anyone coming to my Miami nightclub [address]? Drinks are free of charge.

Unfortunately, trying to take their souls afterward was next to impossible. These things were far different than what humans have for souls anyway. And besides, I was too occupied fighting off the rest coming at me. Makes it hard to kneel over one to try it out when you have a large number surrounding you. Not even enough time to say the whole sentence of a victory boast. |

This is not good at all. I know my servants did not get up every speck of dust in my couple mansions. I know this for a fact. I am not amused at this in the slightest. If dust bunnies and messes had souls... well, nevermind. If this keeps up, I may need to hire better maids. I will not tolerate any excuses.
And my club! Can not allow that to slack by either. Last thing I need is a health inspection to find one little fault and close it down. Not that I fear whatever weak little man they send to represent them. But law is law and I do not wish to deal with the complications. It cannot really be that much to ask for everything to be clean. A citizen, or a high sorcerer at that, of Outworld.. should NOT have to deal with this! |

I must say, I much prefer London to New York. Though the accents here are horrendous. Things are becoming much more routine around here, and although the house is a little more modest than my New York mansion, it has a little more of my personal touch.

ugh..note to self:
It's not an especially wise decision to attempt trying sorcery right after three hours of physical training and sparing, even after a fifteen minute break. Doing so not only will result in expected soreness, but also headaches, malaise and feeling chilled to the bone.
On another note, I don't care what dad says about yuppies and their coffee...I love those flavored drinks at the coffee shop. Caffeine, sugar, and it's hot-what more could you want-they also keep the fainting headaches away. |

So I've been living in an abandoned cathedral, reading books and playing guitar, and it suddenly occurred to me that it's been close to two months since I've been outside.
Who wants to give me a reason? I'm very entertaining. I can do card tricks, and fold people into origami shapes. I am feeling useless and urbane, and I only go out at night. Nor to their idle orbs doth sight appear of sun, or moon, or star, throughout the year--or man, or woman. |

I was walking amongst the orchards when a wind picked me up, and now I am here. The picture with words was helpful, but I find myself comfortless. This machine has been helpful as well but the thought of never seeing the holy isle of Avalon or my brother again fills me with grief.

I truly don't know how we ever got along without cars in Spira. And limos! One of my favorite inventions. It's certainly better than having to walk everywhere. Though I suppose I should do a bit more walking, if only for staying fit.
Unless there are other forms of recreation that qualify as exercise that I don't know about. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't know the sports of your world (and I'm fairly uncoordinated at teams sports as it is - I only needed to try blitzball once to know it isn't something in which I excel). |
