Contractions started...the babies still have six weeks left. They had six weeks..
Just last night I was waiting for them to be out...now I'm glued to the computer trying to not freak out.
It's too early to go to the hospital..

The new president of my record company decided that my image was too "rock" and instead of the few days of meetings about the next Whitehall tour, I was locked up somewhere in the Midwest of America in an attempt to rehabilitate me of my love for drinking, sex and music that is actually written by the people performing it.
I should have them arrested for kidnapping and torture, I should sue them for wrongful imprisonment and emotional stress and I should be finding a new bloody label.
I will do exactly those things as soon as I am calm enough to not be considering more drastic reprisals.

I'm giving the workers at the company the next few days off.

God in heaven.
I take off for one week from the office and I have several weeks worth of damage to correct. The people I put in management completely ignore the memos I sent them and completely gone and done their own thing-as a result, we've nearly lost several important clients. I try to be nice to them, they walk all over me..I act more sternly about the seriousness of their actions and they react as though I've done something wrong.
Thank God, there are more competent employees to replace them..

How fascinating.
A client of mine seems to be obsessed with what is called 'feng shui'.
I've found several books on the subject and while I think it's rather superstitious, the the photographs of Chinese art and design are very lovely. I see why people appreciate it, the designs are so beautiful and rather refreshing in their simplicity. |
